Yes the VMax does read ohms. Honestly, only difference i can see between the VMax and the Gripper is VMax has 5amp switch Gripper has 4amp, and Gripper does not stack. Gripper has the advantage without touching it.

Why can't I find out for sure if it's using PWM? It seems to, from the things I have heard..but nothing definite..

Well, they were sold out of the units themselves as of this morning anyway..I'm surprised nobody has done anything but a one minute review on it so far..

He can tend to ramble on a bit, but would love to see a PBusardo review on it, he puts the devices thru complete voltage rundown on several different ohm cartos, and seems to be honest in his findings. Someone needs to tell him to dump the juice review so he can keep up with device reviews.

Someone just reported getting stable readings with a DMM. Accurate to .05v of what it's dialed to..I'm excited!

Well if Hawk or I hear anything about another co-op, we will keep you in the circle. We both figure, for $25, you can't really go wrong trying to figure out if this is a thing you would want to spend $100+ a unit on..but for a potential lifetime atty, I'll break out the check book!

Cool, sounds good.

Ugh!!! The dreaded vaper's tongue. Two days now I haven't been able to taste my 24x7 favourite juice. Luckily I have a couple others that I like, but I'm starting to miss my goto.

I have 5 brand new cartos and a Vivi Nova filled with it (thought I might have got a bad batch of Boges).

Hope this doesn't last too long. Anyone else ever had to deal with this?

I work on a 3 or 4 flavor rotation, from time to time I feel a flavor falls off, if it does I just put it away for a while. And bring it back when the time is right.

I usually switch up between a few but I've become addicted to one juice over the last month or so and couldn't put it down. Guess that's been taken care of for a little while.

I have about 7 flavors that I rotate through and if I get bored with all of them, I'll pull out an atty and get a little of all of the other flavors I have laying around. Variety is the spice of life!

But to answer your question, yes I have been there a couple of times. I would switch out cartos, thinking they were bad, to no avail. Dripping didn't help matters with it either..Which led me to a rotation.

I actually had to put my favorite one aside as well, for a few days. Pulled it out yesterday morning and about 20 min later, wondered what had happened with it. It's kind of like smoking. You go and take a drag from one now and it will taste like garbage. But after a few days of doing it constantly, you are back where you started and don't realize it tastes/smells that way anymore.

Don't know if you read earlier, but there is one open in the ECF co-op section for a Bulli type RA TCB-02. Looks identical to the Phoenix RA and about $12.

Yeah, I saw that. Kinda seems like the Phoenix is more sought after for whatever reason.

I don't know, I tend to be a little leary of co-ops out of fear of getting burned. But if I'm getting burned amongst friends, that's entirely different. :2cool:

My thought is that they are the same thing..I haven't been able to pull up any specs on that specific Bulli, but they both came out at the same time and I have heard a "reference" of Phoenix towards the Bully TCB-2. So I'm wondering if it's not the same thing, just without a vendor tag. The co-op that I saw, was started and includes well regarded VMs..so I wouldn't be worried about that, personally. I want to jump in it, but I'm not 100% sure it's the same as the Phoenix at this point.
