your right i should bring that up with imeo I am worried to try that. i love the wings.... i hate ruin it.

I lost the engraving on one of my Grants because I wanted a full mirror shine. I didn't lose them on my trans cos I was more careful and didn't go for the full mirror effect. I may fully mirror it and lose the engraving, I haven't decided yet.
All my others have just received a very light buffing and only their caps have been mirror-shined.

what i might try is place a thin piece of electric tape over the etching and give it a go... the gg letters im okay with to lose but the wings I would be heart broken if I lost them.

IM serious I was thinking the other day how sweet it would be if he just etched his winged symbol at a larger scale and put the GG on the end cap..

seee thats what im scared of.... what ever you do keep the winged symbol... its a sign for hope and dreams... when ever I see wings thats what I see....

I think it would take the logo off... It does remove a few .oo1 from it. Mine had no lettering so no worries.. I was actually thinking about getting my own logo.

All new GGs have a 4 times deeper (and moooore expensive) engraving, so you can shiny it easily without loosing engraving. I did that because some people want mirror effect so now they can do it. But please be careful again because aI havent test it yet.

I say again that its 4 times deeper, so I think that there is no problem.

I like it already... he he.. This thing really is a nice device. I don't sit it down for long. And when I do I just stare at it.. But that happens with all new loves. Surely that will go away as soon as the Slim arrives.... That will be my new carto driver though. O that reminds me I need batteries for the Slim... hey they will also work in the Telescopic.. what a trip.. That really is the nice thing about this. I can use any battery in my collection. But the 14500 has been in there the most.
