Just a quick question (and I am 99.9% sure I know the answer):

Can shorty cartomizers (or any other 510 carto) be used with a low profile Grand? I used them with my standard profile (don't own a LP), and assume that the lower height of the juice well on the LP would have no bearing on using cartos. Am I correct?

And as always - thank you :)

and yet the Reo site says:

A low profile Reo grand has a lower profile juice well to accommodate larger rebuidable atomizers . If you plan to use standard atomizers and cartomizers you will want a standard reo grand

Not sure that this strictly prohibits the use of cartomizers, but why does it seem (to the uninformed) to state such?

I understand, but mine never leaked with cartos, nary a drip nor a drop.

You could also have juice running out of a standard profile Reo, you would (could) just have a lot more.

I guess my point is that they all have the potential for leaking around the 510. The way I avoided it was by doing a blind squonk - lightly drawing on the carto while squonking - when the airflow stopped, I stopped drawing and I never had excess juice run out and go all over my mod.

On the LP REOs, the catch cup is just whittled down a little. That's the only difference. And the catch cup is really just insurance against leaks. I would not worry about it at all. I never had leaks when I was using cartos and regular attys. Especially if you blind squonk you'll be fine. He still sells both kinds of catch cups, and if someone knew he/she was never, ever going to try a rebuildable, then get the non LP version. He's just trying to point out the difference with that statement, I think.
