Ok so before I ordered my first e-cig kit, I came here asked some questions. Read until I thought my eyeballs were going to fall out, and then read some more. Knowing that I didn't want to deal with e-juice and all that I decided to go with carts. I emailed so many questions to a few suppliers, which helped quite a bit and then came and read some more....
I ultimately ended up with a Kr808 (smoketip).

I have been a PAD smoker of Marlboro red 100's for just a little over 25 yrs. I got my kit in, charged up the batteries and sat down and tried it out....

I will admit that I had huge doubts, but not anymore. I just started with it about 5pm yesterday and have smoked about 5 or 6 analogs since then.. Huge deal for me. Oh and by the way, I still am on my first battery and cart... amazingly..

I have tried just about everything in the past to quit and never got past 72 hours. Once my husband even went and bought me analogs, because he couldn't handle me anymore... LOL
I have full confidence that with this little device I will be able to quit for good..

Thank you all for your advice, answers, and support in helping this newbie in finding exactly what I needed.

Congratulations on your success so far! I have been analog free myself for about 6 weeks now and It has been great. You may find that PVs become a whole new addiction on their own. So far I am still in the hole for money savings, but theres just so much stuff out there its hard not to order something new all the time. Good luck and vape on!

Edit: Just wanted to add that I've read many great things about the KR808s. I started on a 510 model myself and recently upgraded to an eGo kit. My next stop is going to be jumping into mods. Those bottom feed mods sure do sound fantastic (I started to get fed up with the carts and cartos and started dripping and haven't looked back).

Welcome to the forums.. and congratulations! You did your research beforehand and unlike many first time vapers (myself included) you ended up with an awesome PV that should serve you well. I hope you find more of the answers you are looking for here, and as you learn more, you share it with the folks that need it most.

Happy vaping! :D

How true! Everyday I find something I want to try/buy. It's such a challenge not to hit that buy button.

Hey guys! Newbie here! Sorry, I just recently joined & since I can't post in the new members thread (it's closed), I figured I'd start here!?! Anyway, I'm 29, currently living in Blacksburg, VA and have been vaping for several months now! I've finally kicked my analog habit as well (Marlboro Lights, 1+ pack/day for about 15 yrs)! Right now I'm using an Ego-T LR kit (1000 mah), but have recently started dripping w/ a 510 LR atty as well... and I'm loving it! Anyway, thanks to ALL of you for your extremely informative posts that have helped me on my way! Take care guys!

Grats and welcome! Ecigs are amazing. They really hit the spot in a way nothing else does.

Since Smoketip is KR808D-1, you can also use prefilled cartomizers from Vapor4Life, Bloogplanet, SmokelessImage (sign up at those 3 so you'll get sale emails). As well, I don't know the quality but Cig2go/Cig2o should be KR808D-1. And Vapesafe sells some singles.

If you eventually decide to add juice to keep them damp so you can get at least several days use out of each, I recommend you think about getting manual batteries which are much harder to damage with juice leaks.
