Should vapors brush the teeth more often?

If there is sugar substance in the ejuice, I would think that it would be easier for vape to seep in between our teeth where solid food would be hard to get in. This is why I've been cautious not to vape after brushing my teeth before sleep. Has this been also anyone else's concern? Or should I not worry about it?

Brushing frequently is a good idea anyways; it really helps to keep the flavor alive. This is particularly true with high-VG juices in my experience.

But if you want to vape before bed, just brush 'em again! I keep a toothbrush and glass of water on my nightstand just for that reason (watching TV and vaping in bed, do a water-brush before I nod off, unless I nod off! ;-)

Sugar is bad for your teeth because it promotes the growth of enamel destroying bacteria and other micro-nasties. To the best of my knowledge sugar is not commonly used in(any of mine, anyway) e-liquids. For myself, I don't sweat it. I spent a lot of years smoking, and then with a wad of sugary tobacco right against my teeth for hours. I don't fear the e-juice.

Oh, and DetraMental is correct. You can think of toothpaste like a pumice hand soap...yeah it get things clean, but it's taking a little bit with it every time.

Most liquids don't have sugar in them because sugar really likes turning to a sticky, poorly-transformed caramel and gunking up the coil something fierce. Sweeteners tend to be artificial, but there are probably exceptions to that.

Neither VG nor PG promotes tooth decay, but either can leave a film in your mouth that many find unpleasant. Brushing will take care of that.

My hygienist friend actually abraded some spots of enamel off her teeth from brushing too often (four or five times a day), and only ever recommends brushing twice daily with toothpaste, morning and night. Between times, use water only and brush gently to avoid damaging your gums.

I never vape after brushing my teeth at night, like I never smoked after either. With smoking, I never worried about the sugar aspect of it. But with vaping? Even just straight menthol, I do, because of the sweetness of it.

Nobody would use actual sugar in e-juice unless it was a contamination, its just way too much of a pain to vaporize. The base liquids by themselves though do have quite a high caloric content but PG is antiseptic as in kills little bugs that eat it.. if you vape pure VG you might be in trouble though!

I can tell you what I have experienced. I went and had my teeth cleaned...after a 2 year avoidance while still smoking. She said they were really bad and required extra attention in cleaning. I went back last week after 2 months of vaping and they were described as really good. My gums actually look way better..more bubblegum pink as opposed to reddish. They bleed less with flossing. I am sure my teeth and gums are improving without cigarettes.
