Cudos to all who just joined CASAA because of this thread. CASAA needs all the members they can get. A little donation here and there I am sure is appreciated too. There are MANY well versed members fighting for our right to vape. Go to the CASAA website and look at all the call to actions. They are also fighting to keep these products affordable and accessible for all of us. Every state now wants a peice of the pie. They see harm reduction products gaining popularity and cant help themselves enough to fill their pockets. Then of course we have all the haters who cant bear to see a smoker use a less harmful alternative, they would rather we die smoking cigarettes. CASAA is fighting on all these fronts. EVERY member counts. Believe it or not we can make a difference. We have rights! Fight for them.

Speaking for the long term, getting a mod that allows you to change batteries, and diy will be futureproof. If a battery goes down, buy a new one and swap it in. The parts can be replaced. As for diy, both pg and vg can be picked up many places. The nicotine part may be tricky but a guarantee if they ban ecigs you will still be able to find them on the internet. And bam, you have a working ecig that is future proof even if its banned.

The above list of requirements is standard for all consumable products. Most vendors don't seem to bother with any of these requirements.

Here here. I had to laugh. one of the vendors who won in the best of 2012 when I ordered from them in the "early days" printed their labels on what appeared to be their kid's bubble jet printer. Just sorta stuck them on the bottles crooked, too. I was floored when I received these products, for which I spent $50 in total, that looked like this.

The woman didn't have to work, they were able to stay home and take care of the family. The men fought in bars over politics every evening after a hard days work.

With all due respect, Plumes, there are actually women who pursue a good education and/or training to work in something they love, and who also enjoy being wage earners. You make it sound like some kind of horror story.

And by the way, women can also argue politics in taverns, they don't have to stay home keeping hubby's dinner warm if that doesn't float their boat.

Many of us are not Edith Bunker to Archie. ;)

I guess I don't understand reactionaries.....although I listened to my grandfather who was born in the late 1800s saying the same things LOL while banging his shoe on the table.

History moves on, with or without you. Those who refuse to remain in the present end up being angry, mad and powerless. I don't feel any of those emotions, so I guess I don't understand it. :shrugs:

I agree with you Racehorse but it would be nice for SOMEONE to be able to afford to stay home raising the kids, be it male or female :)
Do I support traditional gender roles and all the stigma associated with them? NO
But that being said the kids are better off at home with someone they love. Be it Mother, Other Mother, Father, Other Father, Grandma, Grandpa etc.

I'm disappointed that more people in this thread are not stating that we need to take steps to protect our right to vape. It seems some are more inclined to just roll over and do little to nothing.

May i point out the fallacy that not posting rants on internet forums has no relationship to taking steps to protect one's rights?

Typing is not activism. Well, maybe lately it is..... but I was around before the internet, so I know better.

Exactly. lol their crappy batteries can't compete !
yea i think they still only sell disposables, heaven forbid should we be able to reuse something they sell, they would rather have piles of batterys piling up on our sidewalks to replace the used butts.

I believe that's Phillip Morris that sells the e-cigs.
they sell " Vuse" disposables, tho i think phillip morris is waiting for after the FDA ruling to jump on board they have some patents out for one tho.

Glad to see this thread got pretty real regarding politics. I signed up for CASAA, just as I became a precinct delegate in my neck of the woods in order to get my vote in for a particular candidate who caught my attention by preaching civil liberties, abolishing the federal reserve, and ending the wars finally. Will keep an eye on the calls to action.
