Lol...so true. Count the number of "help me my clearo is..." vs....trouble with carto tank posts and you are sure to find the clearo is in the lead for support issues....

    Carto tanks are low drama...Lol

(sent from an alien device...it translates English into Klingon)

Clearos for the drama  We THRIVE on drama!

That Smok DCT is not a very good tank ... cheap ... but it will slide up off the carto if you're not careful. (loose o-ring fit)

Someone here once speculated (I think it was Baditude), that shops don't sell cartotanks, because once they sell one, there's nothing else to sell the customer, except some cheap cartos. If you sell clearos, the customer is always coming back trying to find the next greatest one; something that actually works well.

That's why I love my UDCT... it's got the locking ring to keep the carto where it belongs, IN the tank! Most may not need that feature, but it's a godsend for the accident-prone, like me! :D

I think most of us do need that feature, lol. It's why we moved from manufactured tanks over to aftermarket tanks that don't need a lock ring.

Aftermarket tanks don't have to break the bank either. There are options to IBT and Phiniac.

Glad you're enjoying your UDCT. Almost went that way myself but prefer Boge and don't want to pay the xtra for the holes and flares that are necessary to use that particular tank.

With all this talk of carto tanks, I must emphasize the need for a carto tank tool. Slap Yo Mama can be expensive, so check out Avid Vapers. They also have an amazing carto punch tool, too, as well. As a carto tank die hard, I've found these tools more than indispensable.

They will prolong the life of your o-rings indefinitely, and keep your carto from flooding during refills.

A dental pick also does wonders for removing o-rings...

Even if the tanks aren't very good, if it is a Smok carto which comes with them, that alone is worth $1...

    They are very good.

Granted, you're not going to run a marathon with it in your pocket.

But for sit down and enjoy a vape time... They Rock!
