Ya, I'd never buy from them (it's buying from the manufacturers directly), but these are the folks vendors buy from, so they ARE available....and new and improved
That's good news! Still shows the 2.5 amp restriction, though. Doesn't matter much to me, or a ton of other vapers, but there are certain types of vapers these flat out won't suit with that low restriction, though. Aw well...maybe next version.
I think some of those are the original design drawings. I looked through a few pages of the L-Rider stuff and saw no hint of a SS tube.
That first one on AliBaba looks badass lol. I'm not sure if I would take it over a SS one though.

My guess is that they're referring to the build material, i can't seem to find another with a SS finish though :/
The build material is aluminum though right? Who knows lol! At this point it's a crap shoot. I'll either end up with a ss LT or a refund...
Yes its built from aluminum, but I've seen other products that list "stainless steel construction" as a misprint (?).

The new VTube from Apollo is in fact stainless steel...body and end caps (not a paint or coating to resemble stainless). It is also an upgraded version. And yes, coupon code reddit is good for 20% off if ordered by 25 Mar.
They must have realized it was slightly nutty, cause when I checked just now, it was $5 for chrome and $15 for steel. Of course, that's on top of the recent $5 price hike. But now they have the 20% off coupon (I was a little irked they dropped that right after I paid 'whole' price on the 10th of $64 for steel... but now I'm a little less so. lol). Anyway, it looks great in the photos! Plus, I know a guy here who got one at a physical location in Hawaii (user name ha-y-n). He was trading in his original black since the cap was broken and the button was bad. Anyway, he says the new one hits like a truck, and is soooo much better than his old one, in every way. He was ready to switch to a different mod, but now loves his. And you know, i'm not certain if he got the steel one, or just a new version powdercoat. So I'm really crossing fingers that this is a serious improvement, not just a change in fabrication materials. But yeah, you are 100% right, linuxer. I'd say they still have a tiny bit of leeway, but if the price goes up too much more, they'll be in competition with units like Infinity Pro/Buzz Pro and um... can't think of the name... Evo for VV. I personally really dislike the lack of display on the 'pro' units as well as that pokey button, but I'd much rather go for higher construction standards. So yeah, prob wouldn't choose lava if it were in same price range with those, just cause it's mass produced in china. They're walking a slippery slope. But I, for one, am thrilled to have gotten mine at $5 price hike because while I'd have bought one in silver, and certainly would have enjoyed it, Im much happier with the solid steel construction. Some of the flaws, like tendency to crack caps, just won't be a concern in the steel. So crossing fingers! Now they just need to upgrade to oled display! I've fallen in love with the nice brite white clarity of display on my tox! tee hee... we're never satisfied, are we? lol

I hope that you get new version of LT. We need many fair priced & well-functional PVs in the market so that consumers can have choices.
Why does the SS version look like it's green here Apollo VTube Kit or is my eyes playing tricks on me
