That’s got me thinking more about matching attys to the relic face plate. I’m wondering if some type of dark bronze would work. Do you use only RTAs? I’m cruising RBAs today usually RDAs but if I find something that might look good I’ll let you know.
Almost all RTAs. I only use RDAs to test mixes really, and wouldn’t temp fate using one on my stabs. Because I’m messy enough with a tank lol. But yes, please, let me know if you see anything.
Got around to polishing my asmodus ohm, brought out the colors in it 
Got the newest body in for the Armor clone mod yesterday,so gave it a quick polishing today.Still waiting for the mod to put this body on to show up,but it's ready for when it gets here.

Yeah,i was really surprised how nice the color is on it.They had a stock photo on the site just to show an idea of what the bodies look like,but actual one you get wasn't pictured,so i kept my fingers crossed haha.This one looks even better than the one they used for the stock photo.
I ordered this and the mod at the same time,and both said ships in 3-7 days,it took 21 days before the body shipped,and the mod still hasn't shipped yet,over a month later.The stab wood bodies i can understand taking a while,as i think they may not be going to produce them now from the way it looks,but the mod is in stock and ready to ship at several other sites,so if mine doesn't ship by tomorrow,i;m cancelling it and ordering from someone else.Now that i've seen how nice this body is,i'm anxious to get it built and use it haha.
So I ordered an Asmodus Silvanusa that comes from the factory with a super shiny acrylic clear coat. This is unusual for Asmodus since all the ones I’ve seen usually come with a matte type or even dull finish.
Polishing a mod and then clear coating it is extremely time consuming as anyone who has been polishing one knows.
I’m still working on 2 of my mods. They will never get that deep almost thick plastic layer look though as one done from the factory.
It is a matter of personal preference as well. The green EOS II looks awesome just as it is with the matte finish and I have no intention of buffing/polishing it except to clean and maintain the wood.
The other EOS II which is blue is just screaming to have a gloss finish to it. I’ve been working on it on and off for almost a month. It’s really starting to pop.
I may “experiment” with a water based poly finish on it when I think it’s been polished as much as I can do. There are other gloss finishes out there that may work too but I’m not experienced to attempt anything that might damage it.
I might even find a wood finisher that works on musical instruments etc to see what they suggest or can offer.
All kinds of fun ways to get the look you want from your stabwood mods without having to pay $600 and up if that’s your “thing” .
I was making close to 6 digits when I got ill and would’ve paid that amount of money no problem on a beautifully crafted piece of art that doubles as a vape mod lol!

I may eat these words one day if I see some insanely expensive luxury mod and fall in love, but as of now, I’d rather have whatever AsMODus I take a shine to when the mood strikes than spend my whole year vape budget on just one thing.

Seriously though I love my Asmodus mods and (SX Mini SL too) my and that’s all that matters. I don’t care what some vape snob or any snob for that matter says.
And it’s even more fun to have a wonderful group of people to share that enthusiasm with regardless of price tags - hi, low and everything in between!!
