You Great Grandfathers watch is really special. Sometimes I look at my cell phone instead of my watch...bad boy...I do prefer my mechanicals. Something amazing about a ticking watch. I love to have the exhibition backs so I can see it moving.

Same here. I recently bought a Hamilton 940 watch that's in a dicy case. I'm hunting for a "salesman" case (glass back) that I can use to show off the incredibly beautiful movement.

Another one of my watches. I like this one since I can see it without glasses...LOL.

Bigbuyer - niiiiiiiice. Kinetic yeah? And ZERO I know nothing of dive watches but you've got quite the collection there, diggin' the Omega in the bottom right :)

The David Yurman is automatic.
Zero has an impressive sport watch collection, wow.

Let's see more watches on this thread. I am enjoying this a lot! Since watches are one of my passions.

Yeah, the closest I'll go to an electronic watch is my Seiko Kenetic. It uses a mechanical movement to charge a battery, so it's technically a quartz watch, but the perpetual battery and mechanical charging mechanism make me feel better about wearing it, particularly because Seiko's case and face for this watch are absolutely fantastic. I'll post some pictures of it later today.
