I looked into this and it seems from googles report that smokefreequitmeter.com isnt actually supplying any malware, so this is not their fault in anyway, but I just wanted to inform you and i will be informing them that the server they are hosted on seems to be infected. I have gotten google malware warnings on several pages looking through ECF tonight, and followed the links to find more info and thats the info I received.

I'm getting the same malware warning. It's preventing me from reading a lot of posts and threads. I'm going to take down my quit meter (I can't remember at the moment exactly where I got mine from - smoke without fire perhaps and I think it was a UK site - is this one of the problem banners?) - maybe we should take our quit meters down? At least until someone can figure out what the problem is?

its smokefreequitmeter.com, and no I wouldnt be concerned.. just wanted to bring it to the attention of the mods.. maybe I will message one of them, dunno what they can do. anyway, that is the only sig generator affected, and its something on their server (someone else not them) and according to google they have not been distributing malware, but their ip is associated with another site that is. Again this is not their fault, it is their hosts job to fix it.

I am not gonna say you are 100% safe, but from my experience you shouldnt have any problems.. Ive been clicking to show the page. Unfortionatley if ECF continues to let it on here, their whole site will be flagged for malware distribution even if there is nothing being distributed.

Its the whole guilty by association, the bot sees that people are getting the warning on this site, and flags this site.

Can't this be fixed??

So I noticed my sig empty, I had the smokfreequitmeter there.
Did it get removed?
I understand it was blocked, but I no longer have the link to it, in case it comes back.

Edit:link came back, nothing more to see here.:) But I do want this to come back very soon, my 1yr is very very soon.

the smokefree one I had too, for a year! It's been down for quite a while, a couple weeks give or take. It is from UK.
I did get a malware alert also. I went to a cached (older one) but the bells went off again. I think somebody skanked them, it was the best MHO. Hope they get it up and running again, I got kind of attached to it.
I did email the webmaster, no reply.

Oh, but you do. It's there, it's just been blocked from loading. If it comes back up and is all clear and we allow it again then it'll re-appear.
