ordered one last nite "Seg 100 blk".....what gauge wire you guy's using on those low ohm builds?.......figured to try some 24 ga Kanthal @ about .2 or .3

be interested to hear what others are using/building.

I literally unscrewed my 0.2Ω TOBH off my mech and put it on my 100w. Running dual twisted 28ga coils (twisted as tight as possible, maybe 0.5mm between ridges) 5/4 wraps on a 1/16" bit. Running it at 68w which is 4.2v, which makes sense to me. I'm more after consistent vape and long battery life than I am 100 watts.

Received mine a day early, wow it's amazing. Didn't realize how much voltage drop on my mech there actually was. Vapor World has them? I like that place, doubted anyone would have them in okc for at least another month. Now I gotta find a wattage that I like without burning through my juice in one or two hits. I Definitely need that Big Dripper rdta now!!

Also, anyone remember how at first it was marketed at being able to determine "the perfect" wattage for your resistance and now in the manual it just says for best results set at 15 watts. No feature for it at all lol. Also the warranty went from one year to 6 months from date of purchase. Even though with a pre order you have to wait a month or longer from purchase date. Anyhoo, I don't care because I like the device, just not sigelei's marketing tactics.

I tried the sample and my 510 got stuck in 10 mins cuz it did not say in the manual anywhere that it was reverse threaded. Also it was made of the softest copper ever and stripped where the screwdriver met the copper. The new one is supposed to have new 510 contact made of plated brass to be stronger, along with new copper battery contacts, and a new battery divider in the batt compartment, and stronger magnets. I have a v2 black one coming tomorrow but from the sample i used it is one hell of a box mod. 4.0 volts is much differant than 4 volts on my xxix, brass manhattan, and oros clone, it actually hits alot harder. I tested volt drop on the sample at 7.5 volts at .3 ohms there was .05 volt drop...that is just nuts. I wonder if the new one with the plated brass contact will have any more volt drop. The battery life is just rediculous, with 2 sony vtc5's i can vape for 2 days on a nuatilus. I cant imagine using 2 panny 3400 mah, thats 6800mah lol. All in all this is the best box mod I have tried to date even tho you have to build subohm to get the full 100 watts. 60 watts or so at 1.4 ohms is ok with me, although it seems they could have done a little better in that respect. It may have to do with the sx330 v3 chip which is probly running at near max at 100 watts. Time will tell if this chip can handle the power and not go up in smoke after a 2months of use like my chana dna30 did from cloupor. I will update you all to see if the new plated brass 510 contributes to more voltage drop that the redic low .05 on the sample.

On a differant note i got my BIG DRIPPER today and I love it! Although there is no way it is 5ml capicity like it states lol. I got 4 glass dropper full of eliquid in it. It vapes so nicely with dual 26 guage gplat micros in it at .27 ohms and the tank doesnt seem to get real warm like I was worried about. This is my first build on it tho and this may not be the case when i get my 100 watt as I will be pushing more heat thru it. I got the fastech 14 and some change version and it is great. Air holes line up and all, the only thing that worries me is that it didnt come with spare grub screws which we all know are easily lost or stripped where they meet the allen key. Anjy questions for me just let me know. Laters.

To get 5ml takes some doing... U gotta fill it flat on a table then lift it up and stick the center post so it it's barely int it's hole and fill it to the threads

Got mine in today. Set it up at 80w with a dual parallel coil @.4 on a Mutation X RDA . Bought some 4mg juice so I wouldn't go into conniptions..lol...and took 3 hits. Wow this thing is the bomb! After 3 hits I was done though and was buzzing on the nick. You have to pace yourself with this thing...
Yeah I felt a buzz I haven't felt in many moons off 3 hits 6 mg nic, also I can taste juices I haven't been able to for a long time. Full flavor like the first time I tried them.

Just to let you folks know, j wraps has sigelei 50 and 100 watt as options now. Yay!

Actually I picked this thing up on 9-22. They had 4 in stock then. Got #217. Wildest part was, as soon as I went outside to load it up I tried unscrewing the center pin to make contact and just like someone else here stated I demolished the pin. Brought it back in and they exchanged it without a question for the last black one they had. Talk about awesome customer service. They also gave me several nice drip tips for free and ten percent off. The in store price of the unit was only 99 so I really got the thing for 89. Solid place! Wish I lived there but I only travel there for work. But I'll be sure to go back next time I'm there.

I bought mine used and it only came with the one pin that was in it , and it was messed up a bit too. Anyone know where to pick up extras?

I'm thinking Sigelei is handling the warranty, they pump out false information to increase sales and when you receive product you've waited so long you're happy you even have a 100 watt in your hands. Plus the "seemingly" good quality you think well I can't get anything nicer for the money so oh well. Anyone know something I don't know, to clear up who is handling the warranty?

Yeah for buying mods they're one of the best in the metro area and we have a BUNCH. Like 60 or more shops. Not my favorite for juice locally but it's still decent. Definitely a great city to be a vaper in.

Thanks for the response , there has got to be warranty info in the package no? This is important to me as my SX 330 chip went south after a few weeks .
