I never got around to buying any Sony VTC5 when they were in stock. I'm still using a pile of Sony VTC4. They last a good amount of time in the sigelei 100w but the VTC5s would last a little longer. I also use the purple efest 2500mah but they're only 20A continuous discharge with 35A burst, I think. I've been considering picking up some LG HE2 but their amp limits might be the same as my purple efest. When I use a .2 ohm coil at 100w I go with the Sony VTC, if I were using a .3 ohm coil or higher at 100w then I feel ok using the purple efest.

I have an Xtar VP1 two bay charger. I would've got the four bay VP4 but they didn't make it back when I got mine, lol. If I were to buy a new charger today then I'd probably get an Efest Luc4 or an Xtar VP4. I'm sure there's other good chargers out there also.

What batteries and charger would y'all suggest for the Sigelei 100? I know Sony VCT5 are the best but they are out of production from what I've seen on the web. Looking to run my Russians so no real crazy sub-ohm. Looking for long endurance.

i do not own a sigelei 100w, and i do not know what the amp limit needed is, but i do know that if you don't need more than 20 amps continuous, go for the LG HE2, or the Samsung 25r. there is nothing else to be considered if you cannot get a VTC.

I intend to keep the coils in my Russians @ 1.4 - 2.0 ohm. Who knows? Maybe I'll try a sub ohm micro coil(s) but I've a feeling organic cotton may burn faster with more power to the coil. Right now I am using a coat hanger width rod (mini-coil), 2mm cotton wick and keeping my MVP2 a click south of full power. Averaging 400 puffs a day and changing wicks every other day.

Uh oh, nothing else to be considered, I better throw my purple efest in the garbage. Lol

I would rather have the Samsung 25R or the LG HE2 over the purple efest equivalent. I bought the efest when they first came out, before the LG's and Samsung's were available maybe, hoping they would be 35a continuous as advertised. Turned out they were the same as the LG HE2 with 20a continuous and 35a pulse, if I'm not mistaken. I don't know exactly why there's not much love for the purple efest. Maybe it's because they're a little shady while advertising 35a but they work good for me and they're cheap and readily available too

With a 100 watt device you want good batts no matter your coils. Get vtc4s, lg 20a or the samsungs talked about above. With vtc4s the only thing I can personally recommend.

I pulled the trigger on Amazon for LG18650HE2 HIGH DRAIN 2500mAh 35A 3.7V . I bought four for under $30 shipped.

You realize that they aren't 35 amps continuous, right? Please don't run them much over 20 amps, because that is their true amp rating. The 35 amp pulse rating is just unreliable.

Yeah I just saw a listing for in stock non prebuy on ebay but of course the price is rediculous. Every other listing I read is mentioning a delay. Vapenw I think it was, said something about a material shortage. And another said that they are switching the positive contact material from copper to brass coated something, due to copper leadi5ng to issues bc of softness. I prolly could have built my own 20a raptor by now. Lame
