I wonder if it would be possible to remove the 510 connection out of the sigelei100w, and replace it with a fat daddy vapes 510? You would have that ring sitting on top of the sigelei acting as a kind of heat sink so the mod doesn't get as hot, and then have the adjustable 510 pin.you could even get a thin piece of delrin to place under the FDV plate to keep more heat from the unit.

I just don't know if I have the ballz to try it in fear of ruining my new pv. Plus I am no electronics guru, so i'd probably light myself up and be the first killed from a vaporizer.

I'm even thinking of asking P4U because I bet the IPV1 2 and 3 are using the same size pins and they have the full screw head for more surface area.
You don't want those...you don't want the issues the/my IPV2 has..but I'm getting a brand new one. W007!

The IPV2 is a normal threaded screw. IPV3 is spring loaded.

Problem is these screws are reverse threaded, and you won't find these in stock anywhere. I contacted Sigelei and they told me to contact my vendor. I contacted vapenw and they said they couldn't get any but I could return the unit for a refund. I finally found a vendor willing to send me a couple they pulled from returns.
Got my skin on and like it!

I'm running a dual parallel coil 28g setup at .3 on a plume veil clone, usually at 65 watts.

No pin issues yet but I don't switch attys so I haven't seen the problems that Ripp Tripper talks about in his latest video. He mentions on there that Sigelei is about to release a V3 that has a different pin setup to fix the issues they're seeing with the reverse threaded copper.

I'm hoping it's retro-fittable, even though I haven't had a problem yet.

Ordered my silver from NW Vapes Fri night and got it yesterday-i was really surprised considering the holiday.

Has the V2 battery pins and the 510 adjuster is copper. (came with 5 or 6) The case feels cheap compared to a solid aluminum unit but the display and magnetic cover are pretty nice.

My .4 Big Dripper coil became .2ohms after a few tugs. Still likes the 45-55w range even with the resistence drop...too hot at 60w+.

Hey guys, I think I'm going to order one off these from ebay.. I wanted one in sliver to match most of my devices, but now I'm thinking black might look better. I was going to wait another week because I heard they are fixing the battery pins and 510 adjuster, and threads - but it seems like NW Vapes is sending out the newer version now?

Just want to make sure before ordering, thanks. And btw, what is the voltage range on this beast, 3.1-8.4 depending on battery life, or will it go down to 3.0v??

Oh, and did NW Vapes raise their price on it like $7 from a few days ago? Or is that just me.
..... THANKS! :D

Or will it only go down to 3.6volts?? Besides my drippers, I have some sub-ohm kanger coils for my Aerotank V2, that were getting burned up on my mech.. wanted to try them with this at low voltage, but they might not wick fast enough either
either way..

And man, I'm really stuck between colors!! But silver matches all my atty's, and eBay only has that in stock so that helps me decide lol. Plus a J-wrap would help, and it comes with a free cover on eBay from Sig.

Think I'm gonna finally pull the trigger n order it tomorrow! I'm really excited because this is the 1st nice APV I've bought myself since I got my eVic 2 summers ago, it's been broken since.spring..
... Any advice much.appreciated!!

Edit:
Or should.I wait for the V3 sig100 to be realeased before I buy it, with the new 510 adjustable.pin? Saw it mentioned a page back

the Copper pin does present problems if you like to change out Atty's frequently and are not cautious when adjusting.

the V3 will have a brass 510 pin which will be more sturdy :2c:
I'm really waiting this one out. I've been experiencing this from time to time and have been experiencing it without the pin even installed which leads me to believe it may be the board itself. Had the same issues with the ipv2. Either that or its a low ohm build issue. Never does it on a 1.0 build for me. But I'd be willing to bet that it turns out its not a contact issue but a board issue in the long run.

been running @ .4 since day one with no fluctuation, yet i'm not changing out Atty's; i set it & forget it....everything's nice and snug.....man i sure hope i haven't jinxed myself...i also had to screw my 510 pin on the Sig all the way down because my Tobh's 510 pin extends quite a bit, but it worked out perfect, nice & flush.

didn't you say yours was a Demo Model......sure hope for all of us there is no chip issue......so far i'm loving mine the Vape is just so intense @ 50 to 60 watts compared to anything else i use.....very satisfied so far.

also on a side note on mine when the screen reads the battery % when it hit's 50% i took my batteries out and checked the Voltage with my DMM and they were both at 3.7, well to be totally precise one was 3.72 and the other was 3.73......so it's the perfect time for me to re-charge/swap-out Batts, at least that's what i'm doing.
