May I ask what you are setting your temp compensate to? I am lost as to what temp should be entered there.
Another way to fix the "lame vape" is to manually set the resistance 0.01 or 0.02 higher. You can do this by firing the device for a split second, waiting for resistance to come down to the desired setting and locking it there. It's what I have to do on all my sig/laisimo mods. I hate to say it but my joytech/wismec mods just do TC much better than this.

Good to know. Thanks.

Ok so I just found this thread last night. :(

I have been absolutely loving my 213 in every way coming from a cuboid it does everything better. But after reading this and only having used vw mode my heart sank and I started testing out the TC presets.
Hate to say it but for me the presets for 316 and Ni are working a treat, as long as I lock the resistance and don't set the pre heat too high it performs exactly as I would expect.
Using a Crown with both coils and a Theorem with notch coil as these are the only things I've ever used TC on.

Not had one misfire or screen glitch in over 2/3 weeks constant use.
I think I got one of the very first batch to hit the UK so whether there's is any difference in early units like people have said I don't know.

Gutted to read there is problems with this mod and the lack of updates is a real kick in the plums for me. If I knew this I would probably not have purchased as updates are a must these days.
Also the way Sigelei are handling this is ....ing disgusting, they should send every 213 owner a free Fuchai 213 in my opinion.

Anyway I will be keeping an eye on this thread but I'm more than happy with my 213 overall and will continue to use it as my daily driver.
Avocado 24 single 0.45 alien Clapton 75-80w pre heat then 55- 60w and it's the best vape I've ever had. Will prob never use TC on the 213 but .... me it should work!
What's so annoying is firmware updates could have fixed all this, one silly mistake has ruined this mod for a lot of people.

I'm now hoping for a Cuboid V2 that's lighter and will take 25mm attys and I will be happy.
Keep toying with an RX200 but I just can't get over the bulk of that thing.

Vape on!

I have a black Advocado 24 on mine and it does look cool. Super compact and really light. Every mod/atty I get I spend the first few days agonising over everything wrong with it but then just get on with using it. I love the look, feel and form factor. Love that it's so light. I just feel a bit had over by Sigelei. They must have known the issues with it but chose to release it anyway. At a very high price too. Not being firmware upgradable is criminal for a mod of this price. The real kick in the teeth, is their solution to all this is to release a newer, working version for half the price.

Sigelei just lost a lot of respect from the community for sure. I'll admit, I was a Sigelei fanboy up until this point, but they just changed my mind.

Mine works pretty well in the temp presets but takes some tweaking, such as manually setting the ohms .01 - .02 higher than the device reads and setting the temp compensate just right. I have found that a TCR of 0.0005 works close to the same as the preset for 316 coils though.

I bought this device for the soul purpose of using ss in tc and found it to be lacking. If they release a firmware update, which doesn't seem to be their intent, I'll be happier but it still wouldn't change my mind about their shady actions surrounding this mod. I'm considering building my own DNA mod from a kit, at least then I'll know exactly what I'm getting.

Looks like you've found exactly the same work arounds as me. I set my initial resistance 0.01-0.02 higher than its initial reading. I've also found tcr 0.0005 works similar to ss316 setting. Sigeleis own calculator says 0.00049 which is ridiculous as the mod only uses 4 decimal places. They MUST know this, surely??

Well, you gave me the ohm work around in a previous post lol. Another member in this thread mentioned that he spoke with Sigelei and the engineers told him to try the tcr 0.0005, so I tried it and it worked pretty well.

The temp compensate is something I have been playing with since I got it and I noticed that it had a direct impact on the vapor production. If you use all of that, it's not a bad device actually. Not as jacked up as I had initially feared anyway. Sigelei just kind of dropped the ball on this one, then decided to add insult to injury by releasing that Fuchai 213. I have two Sigelei mods right now and it will stay that way. The next mod I buy will be something with a dna in it.

While it is to early to tell but the newly calculated TCR value is working out much better on my remaining 213.

It is really hard to hate the 213. Smaller and lighter than a Cuboid, 2A charging and FIVE "TFR" memories. Had all the features worked out of the box it could of been a strong competitor to the YiHi and DNA models.
    Yep, same here.

    Darn! Yup same here.

Oh I agree, I can't hate the device. That's why I keep jumping through these hoops to get the tc function to work in a way that I can be satisfied with. If someone were to ask me how I liked it I would have to say aside from having to jump through the hoops to make the tc function properly I love it.

Given that I have Joytech, YiHi, Dicodes and even SXK devices that simply worked out of the box, I'd not go so far as to say I "love" the 213 but after tweaks and hoops I've finally tamed it to be usable. To bad I did not end up with a GOLD one (the color I was shopping for) but I can live with the black.

Even if the new F213 has all functions working as advertised, I think the change to new body material (making it weigh more) would kill for me one of the 213's most redeeming features - its weight and balance in the hand.

I currently have a black Boreas mounted on the 213 and there is still room on the top for even larger diameter tank(s).

As long as the new body is aluminum it won't weigh much more, maybe a gram or two.

I would say I wouldn't have a Fookme...oops I mean Fuchai but the feature set is interesting. I wouldn't pay more than $40 since Sigelei did everyone dirty. I would have to look at it as a throwaway device with no warranty or support.
