So on one hand I am over-reacting according to your post, while in the second part of your post you seem to call Sigelie's business practice shady which sounds like you're basically agreeing with me on how they run their business.

Why am I even wasting time responding to your post?

I'm happy you enjoy your VW mode, but that's is clearly not everything that this unit was suppose to be about.

Have fun though.

i agree with you on how sigelei is running their business, i just disagree with the mod being a "trainwreck of a mod".

lol, even your name is an overreaction. "oh the agony!". yes, my mod is working great for me. IN TC and VW mode. the mod itself, to me, is not a trainwreck. at least not yet it's not. i've only had it for a couple of weeks. do you even own one? so long as mine keeps working, i will consider it $80 well spent. i definitely enjoy it more than all of my other mods currently.

It is really shady and bad from sigelei and as much as it would be justified to hate this mod, I really like it. I am 95% power mode vaper, the weight is awesome, I love the looks, the preheat is great and it works fine for me. But this is for sure subjective. If you are fully into TC, this might be a complete fail.

The TC part I can live without (although it should be working PERIOD if it's an advertised feature), but the misfire when the screen goes out...annoying as piss. And it can't be fixed.

i hear you. your timing must be impeccable like mine. i guess i like the fire my mod exactly 13 seconds after my last vape. lol.

My unit misfires (which pisses me off the most), the TC nor TCR do NOT work and to me it's a pretty pricey mod. And one is not justified in calling this mod a "trainwreck"? What did I buy then?
Yes, it's nice, but to try to justify paying $80+ in this day and age with an unproven chip and the mod does not function as advertised is crazy.
Whatever makes you guys feel better but I will not be sold something $80+ and settle and say "it's okay, only half the features work, but it's alright, it looks nice."
I'll continue to call mine a dud. It's definitely not FUD. Even Sigelei admits that.

Just got mine today, could have been a fantastic mod but for one huge problem. It reads the resistance 0.01-0.02 too low. This sounds like nothing but in ss tc mode 0.01 makes a difference of about 150f . This means even at the max temp of 570f I'm just not getting enough out of it. The only work around is to fire the coil wait for it to cool down to the desired resistance and lock it there. My sig75tc, snowolf and laisimo l1 all read resistance exactly the same as this. My 2 cuboids and rx200 all read 0.01-0.02 higher. I pretty much use ss tc all the time and It's hugely disappointing that my mods of less than half the price just work better. Anyone else have this issue? Cheers Adam.

Oh yea I forgot to mention that about my unit it reads ohms 0.02-0.03 lower than my other mods. You are not alone.

That's a feature! It's a new superior way to read resistance. Just like their superior way of calculating temperature control in Fahrenheit is too advanced for current TCR values using Celsius. One day the vaping world will catch up to Sigelei... /sarcasm off

Is your low resistance reading giving you the same problems as me in tc mode? I had the same issue with my Laisimo L1 and mentioned it in this forum, a guy who seemed to really know his tech stuff said a difference of 0.01ohm's would = 150f difference. This definitely seems to be the case with all my sig/Laisimo mods compared to my joytech/wismec mods.

Thanks for doing this research! Not entirely sure what's going on with their tool they just posted and I find it interesting that if their TCR worked differently than what one normally would use, why it was not mentioned in the manual. I mean were they expecting us to figure out that the TCR was measuring in C instead of F?

Btw, discovered a new problem with mine: I seem to be able to only adjust the first three memory slots for TCR. In slot four I can move to different digits but I cannot change them. In the fifth spot, I can change the first digit (the one to the left of the decimal point), but I cannot move to different digits.

Pretty happyt that I didn't buy two more cuboids (or another cuboid and an IPV5) plus a tank for what I paid for this, $99.00 with two batteries. Sigelei's pretty much dead to me at this point.
I hate to say it, BUT this isn't the first time I've heard memory slots 4 and 5 NOT working......

Anyone else?

I think this might be something else to add to the list....

Is anyone here a lawyer? Class Action.....

Sums up my feelings exactly. I love this thing, but I'm starting to feel dirty for loving it :D

I gave up. I got rid of my 1st one on the way home today and exchanged it for a eLeaf TC100 and a new tank. (while I have doubts about the tank, I know the TC100 will work)

I'll try playing with the temperature offset, new TCR values and relook at TCF before deciding on #2 - I'd really want this thing to work but enough is enough - Sigelei missed their usual to-notch quality with the TC modes on this thing.

If I can't coax a decent vape out of my favorite wire types #2 is getting returned as well.

I'm rather doubtful I'll give them another chance with the follow on F213. (there would have to be hoards of TC vapers praising the thing (much like a few of the "star mods" in the TC forum) before I'd even think about it)
