I never expected it to do 200w with 2 batteries...and the firmware is fixable and I'm pretty sure they are trying.
What is bugging me and keeping me from buying one is this:
The mod will tell you you firing at 200w+ even though it isn't. Does that mean that the whole scale is off? Are the readings on the screen like wattage and voltage even close at a more reasonable 80w?

I wish that when they make these "200w" mods, they would say something like: "200w using pwm, 150w DC."
That way they can advertise a big number to attract the people that think moar is better without blatantly lying to the ones that know better.

No, just because it doesn't hit 200 watts doesn't mean that everything is off. Depending on the build, it will hit 80 watts easy.

Anything past a certain wattage (again this depends on the coil buid) will just be throttled back because you hit the voltage limit regardless of the wattage displayed on the screen.

Honesty, it's a solid vw mod, the tc just isn't accurate due to a flaw in the firmware.

ok, since I'd been enjoying my 213 mods BECAUSE of the way the temp control has been working on them, I decided to run the cotton test. Here's a video I took - the actual test is about 10 minutes in, and after the cotton wick tests, don't bother watching - I just start rambling :p

Wanna trade mods? If I do the same exact test as you, clicking and holding the fire button after it says hold to lock and everything, it still burns cotton.

As I have the same exact version of firmware as you, I can't help but think either you got extremely lucky and got a mod that actually works as intended in tc, or there are other variables at work such as the tfr/tcr being used with that particularly wire.

So my Black Fuchai 213 "seems" to be working properly on the SS316L preset and TFR, I am confused on what to input in TCR menu. I do have to turn it up to 460-470 to get the vape I like and no changes on Temp Compensation.

WAY BETTER than the OG I had to send back to Hades.

Oh, and absolutely no misfires.

With my tests of mine, I believe the problem is that the device still seems to be locked at the max 25a power output most devices are limited at instead of the 35 that they suggest is the limit. I ran both fresh VTC4 and HB6 batteries and they capped out at 24a when firing on a .27 ohm coil. It's just easier for a company to shoutback "your not using good enough batteries". 35 Amps should be easy for even one battery from either of my sets to hit.

I didn't consider that. I have a problem of getting get caught up in the good ole mech mod days of calculating amps through the resistance of the coil and the nominal voltage of the battery.
