I must have had DjLsb Vapes version
Honestly the only time fighting with temp control is worth it for me on this mod is when I get a wild hair and want to use my crown rba, but I've pretty much retired that tank and temp control.

It's so much easier for me to just adjust the watts I want and go to town on my Griffin 25. Disappointing to say the least, but if I ever want to try real temp control I think I'll either wait for some reviews on the IPV6 or buy a tried and true dna mod.

have you adjust the temperature deviation only with temperature compensation?
Ok, so I did this out of curiosity and it still burns dry cotton even at 200F. I guess it's just dropping the watts enough on tc with the crown rba to keep me from getting a dry hit, but from all the evidence I definitely wouldn't call it a temp control device.

I stuck that crappy rba in my drawer anyway, and the Sig 213 will be my over priced vw device now.

Im keenly awaiting the sx450 tests. The idea of just having a few presets readily available suits me well as I tend to go up or down about 10w on say my supreme with .4 claptons from 55.5 to 66.6 for a cooler or getting hot vape ( i like certain numbers for aesthetic reasons, if you know Thai, 5 is pronounced ha, so 555 is kinda like LOL for Thai). I have been offered a pretty good deal on a cloudmaker whiteout, but i dont know if I should go DNA or YIHI.

Only cost me a touch more than a weeks spending on ciggies so as long as the box doesnt fall apart I guess its good for the form factor and style. Like functionally a cheap shirt does the same thing as a more expensive styled one but I prefer to look good :)

They are both great chips (dna 200 vs sx350jv2 / sx450). Just depends on whether you prefer grainular customization via a software on a pc (dna200) or easy general customization straight on the mod itself (yihi).

If it were strictly for power mode I always reach for my sx350jv2 mods. If it were strictly for TC mode I reach for my dna200 mods.

Thought you guys might be interested in a private conversation that DJLsb had with Sigelei about their 213. They saw his video and wasn't too happy. He posted this as a link in his video. Man I love that guy.

P.S. Be very wary of the Fuchai 213 my friends.

So they "threatened" to not send him a free fuchai213 for review? Was that just a miscommunication perhaps.

Anyway, I like how they say their manager is upset with the video.

What really surprises me tho is how they don't address the issue and offer to fix it and instead just asks for the video to be removed...

I don't think she was intending to threaten him. Keep in mind they have never sent him a mod before. Daniel purchased that in a shop. So when she said they would reconsider, she meant they would try to add him to the tester list. But yeah, to ask to have the video taken down...that's pretty bad. Just shows no remorse on their part.

I think if they fix all of their issues with the 213 and Daniel puts out a video showing that, they can easily have one of the top tc mods on the market right now despite the bad taste they just left in everyone's mouth.

If they would just fix that issue with it reading the resistance every time it fires it would be a good tc mod. One firmware upgrade would've resolved that too. But noooo.

Well, I don't think you have to worry about it falling apart on you. One of the major things it has going for it is that it's very well built. The issues are in the firmware.

If they did, this mod would've been my 2nd favorite dual 18650 mod of all time (currently on 6/14/2016 :p)

I think they recognize the fact that the video now has over 22 thousand views, not to mention that Daniel has over 24 thousand subscribers. That has to have some sort of impact.

And to top it all off. Sigelei claims to not have an official Youtube account. Who ever posted that is not from Sigelei. At least that's what Sigelei is claiming. But I have to use a little caution, anyone can fire up and account with whatever name they want and put a fancy logo on it. Looks official to everyone else :)

They're claiming that the conversation Daniel had is not with a Sig representative?

Correct.

This whole thing is kind of /popcorn worthy imo :)

That's true if Daniel had the conversation on youtube. It doesn't say how he talked to them. They just posted a link from youtube into the conversation. You can watch youtube with no account.

He could've very well had the conversation over FB for all we can tell.

Edit: Actually we see no user names next to the picture of who is typing, which is what we would see from youtube or FB, so I don't know how he talked to them. Looks like it could be FB chat window.

I'm sure if you asked him he would tell you. I've had several conversations online with him. He's very responsive to questions.

OK, I just read through the comments and they said they contacted Daniel and he has agreed to try and track the IP address of the person he was really talking to. Wow, what and cluster:censored: lol.

I would think Daniel would remove that conversation from his website if that were true. Honestly, I trust Daniel more than I do Sigelei. He posted a very honest review of a product, of course it's going to draw attention.
