The display don't look like the SnowWolf 200 display anymore? did they change chip before launch? seems odd to me.

UI's change, it's no big deal...

But I think the NEWEST one is the one that looks just like the Snowwolf, there's a mix of newer and older pictures across the web's vape shops pre-order pages.

It all does seem odd to me though that at first every indication was that they were using Yihi, then all of a sudden they were using an in-house chip (apparently, I've seen no official announcement one way or the other or the name of the chip or any real details). Seems borderline shady to me.

Really? It didn't seem that out of left field. Yi-hi coming out with one of their first mods and all.
Not to mention the fact that sigelei has been using their "in-house" boards for some time now, ex sigelei 100w+, 150w, etc.

Edit, also, the pics with the snowwolf style screen are the oldest product images. I doubt they were even from a real board, probably just photoshopped for something to put out before they actually made the mod.

Ah, I must've had it backwards.

Either way ui changing means nothing, and they could very well be producing a yihi clone. Doesn't really matter provided it actually works.

I'm hoping the delays are them making sure the chip's algorithms are just right and it's completely bug free. A Ti mode or coefficient ("purity") menu would be ideal though it's not likely.

The last I looked the Sig 150tc looked more like Yihi, I saw some screenshots that showed Joules on the display.

Yeah, definitely, that was why I put their "in-house" boards in quotes. I don't know if they straight up clone the boards, or get authorization to manufacture them based on yihi spec/firmware.

Blarg, more delays, by time I get this mod I'll be over it. (Already am kind of, onto that DNA200 yo). I too am guessing these delays will not mean we get newer features, ti mode, coefficient.

Yeah, those are all using "in-house" sigelei boards, just like my sigelei 150W.

And they are working. I haven't had the Plusses as long so we will see how they hold up. I was a little disappointed when I realized they didn't seem to be Yihi chips, but they may be fine.

I just want to wait to see how the tc chip is working.

If you do the hold fire button down and put the batteries in, I'm sure you'll find they still use yihi firmware. To me their "in-house" boards are kind of like the yosen SX300 boards that aren't made by yihi, but made to yihi spec by an OEM.

sigelei not using Yihi chips anymore sucks , if the sigelei 75W and 150W TC use the same chips as snowolf = garbaje

best regards

LOL, yeah, who on earth would want a TC chip that doesn't have a million menu hoops to jump through before you can use it and then has a crappy rattlesnake TC that's constantly cutting the power off like the Yihi?

I could have bought the IPV4. I was very interested in them at one point. I could have bought the SX Mini M Class if I had wanted. But after trying them both out and trying the SnowWolf I bought the SnowWolf because the Yihi chip sucks on it's user interface and that god-awful rattlesnake TC. The chip in the SnowWolf works so well it doesn't need a million menus to work right, and it's power delivery is so smooth that you don't notice any difference between the TC and wattage mods other than the TC mode never gives a dry or burnt hit.

You can keep your rattlesnake if that's what you want. I would much rather have a proper temperature control.
