Sorry to go off topic, but I wanted to mention the new #13 I just got. It's set up just like an 8, same top and switch set up. On my 8 I removed the spring and I loosen the brass post to tighten it up so the battery fits snug. On my 13 all I had to do was remove the spring because it's telescopic; it's set up the way I was hoping it would be, even though I was hearing horror stories of trying to get it to function well. I don't know if this is the 13c or what, but it's great!

Just read your post and decided to try removing the spring on my 13a. Ever so slightly shortened the mod in 18650 mode and I think it may have solved my sporadic hot button issue!

Edit: I'm looking through the posts from page 1 now, but does anyone happen to know a good way to solve misfires on the 13a?

From what I can tell, the switch pin is a little uneven. I'm afraid to sand it down and make it too short to complete the circuit, so I was thinking I'd have to mod the bottom pin to make it wider and then sand down. Could anyone point me in the right direction?

If that's too invasive, I was thinking about etching a line into the button itself, much like the Atmizoo Roller. Sure it wouldn't solve the pin problem, but I'd have a tactile feel to tell me which side of the button to press.

You can get a spare switch from Vapor Tek USA for like $3 if you do mess up your switch.

Look at the switch. Is it making contact with the pole? The spring, is it still making contact with the battery and, is the battery still making contact both top and bottom? If none of this fixes ya, wanna send it to me? I need the switch on that for a project I'm working on. Lol

the RBA fires on the other 3 devices i have... i even put a different atty on the iSeason and nothing... it wont fire it wont do anything.

OK...might sound stupid, but did the locking ring (the little knurled ring on the fire button) work it's way out? Don't laugh...I've done that on some of my pinkie-button mods & not realized it until I'd checked everything else....

Yeah it's unscrewed I thought the same thing bc my KTS had done it to me a few times. The button is making contact. I haven't pulled it apart to make sure the battery and spring are fully making contact with the bottom and the top. Ill have to do that tonight when I make it home. Thanks for the suggestions guys! And if it doesn't work ill sell ya the 61 ;)

You can get rid of the "lock" by prying the button off and shaving down the plastic C portion under the button. That is all that the "lock" consists of.

Better way is to take the button off and use a small screw driver to push the button lock pin out of the button.

^^ I know you mentioned this, what did you use to shorten the throw and where is it placed? The press doesn't bother me too much, it's the throw.
I sanded down the black ring that separates the battery from the switch. Just be careful not to sand too far.
