i did a voltage drop test following the instructions from a tutorial. the battery measured 3.9 and then i put the prongs on each pole of the rba, fired it and it measured 3.6. that would be a .3 drop. is that normal/average? just did it with a 15 bucks multimeter so i might be off some
That is pretty darn good! Some high end mods have about a 0.1~0.3v drop.

Just got a #24 in a trade. His like a mack on my RSST. But I had to screw the pos post down to get it to connect. And it's not connecting with my igo-l. Is there a mod to make the pin adjustable?
Also the button is fine for me but may be a bit stiff for my wife after using it a while. Anybody mod the switch? I guess there's a spring in there that can be torched a little??

Anybody selling just the #20 revised head yet? I'd love to dust mine off and use it, but not willing to throw down $30 to do so.

First I need to finish it up and test it good. Then I would need to figure out a way to make it a lot less tedious. Plus I still have two more and a ton of other projects. Sorry it's not looking good for you my friend.

Yeah it's just a simple mosfet switch. There is a mosfet, resistor, and tact switch.
Id like to see detailed pics sir. Ill try to replicate it if I can. Ill try your method on one and they try one with the iSeason switch on the other. I have no lathe but....... ok, so maybe I wont try to replicate your idea

My 19e (newest vaportekusa version, no magnet, no glue) is weakly magnetic. I'm thinking there's iron in the alloy, as nickel and cobalt wouldn't serve a purpose and are more costly. Just wondering if someone else with a NIB magnet has checked their 19e to see if it's magnetic?

So I just received my #20 v3 from VaporTek but it has a pretty big problem where if you touch the button and another part of the mod with a piece of metal it fires. Putting your mouth on the drip tip is like putting your mouth on a 9v battery. Is nobody else here having this problem or did you somehow fix it?
That can't be good. The v3, is that the one with the revised switch? I know on my original #20, if the button touches the body, I get some action and a hot button. You shouldn't be getting that on a normally functioning device. Let alone a 9v like shock on your lips...... I would fire off an email to VT to let them know you have an issue.

I've been thinking about this for a few minutes... If you're getting a shock on your lips that essentially means your body is completing the circuit. But for the life of me I can't think of any possible way for this to happen under normal circumstances... What kind of atomizer are you using?
This is doing the same thing to me. Wonder if there's a way to fix it. Gonna take it apart later when I get off work to see if I can fix it. I've used a bunch of genny style atty's. If you have a stainless still tip and put your tongue to it, you feel the licking the 9V battery feeling. Rather odd.
Here's a video showing the problem. It's not the atty causing it but I use an IGO-L and Davide. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=632294226805403. My Davide uses a plastic tip and it still has the taste, but not as bad.
VT says Sigelei knows about the problem and you can't find the new v3 #20 anywhere now. VT also says that they will let me keep it and send me a new #20 (v4?) if they fix it or another mod if they don't.
