A day without a Zmax is like a day without sunshine

I bought my 2 Zs a month or so ago just to put in my Vapocolypse stash. Used them a couple weeks until the new wore off. Now I'm back to my good old 650mah ego and Evod VVs. Have a new Evod VV blister kit waiting at the house now. Probably pick that up in the morning

You prefer evods to your zmax?

I don't think these postings are about bumping the thread since I pointed out there's new tube mods appearing with a max of 14w's. I think we are ahead of the curve.

Well, the preference is size and weight. And the fact that these tiny batteries just amaze me.
I'm a truck driver working 14 hour days and I like being able to just reach into my shirt pocket and grab my vape just like I did with cigs. A fully charged 650 mah will darn near get me thru a full work day.
I've slightly modified my Evod tanks for better airflow and use cotton wicks. When I do use my Zs they're set to 3.3 volts just like an ego. With an Evod tank.
I just put myself on a $30 monthly vape budget. With that I can buy 2 months worth of juice and new battery, tank and charger every month. This will be next months new ego.

$5.99 EE2 E-Cigarette 650mAh Rechargeable Battery (EE2, 650mAh, Silver) at m.FastTech.com
And maaayyybe the matching tank.

$7.44 Authentic EE2 Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer (EE2, Silver) at m.FastTech.com

We may be more ahead of the curve than you think. If the FDA clamps down on e liquid and or taxation runs liquid prices through the roof a whole bunch of cloud chasers will be looking into low wattage vaping to conserve e liquid.

I dragged out some Egos the other day. They were one huge jump in performance over the cigalikes. I could live nicely with them even today.

You still have the control with a Zmax of wattage or voltage to tweak.
I always used the 4 voltage clicker style 650 ma ego batteries. Worked fine. I also do my own coils and modded them. The T3S vapes nice at 8 watts.

My 7 month old ego-T upgrade has 2 power levels, 3.3 and full battery power. The 2 Evods are 3.5-3.7-3.9-4.1. Of course being the mizer that I am I only use the lowest setting as if they were coin operated or sumthin.
I started vaping last June with an eGrip V1 20 watt with the ego-T upgrade/with Aspire BVC as backup. Finally packed the eGrip away in Dec cuz it would only go down to 8 watts. Right out of the box the eGrip's power gave me the confidence that it would get me off the nasties. The ego? Originally thought I'd wasted my money! But then with what I've learned here on ECF it has become my go to vape. The comments I kept reading about learning to 'get the most from what ya got' are what led me here. Today I feel my vape in the 650 mah is every bit the equal of my eGrip with standard coils.
I've got T3S in my wish list at FT. Been working with T3XL for 2 months now finally got the wicking down to where they don't leak until almost empty. Very fragile tanks tho. Already busted the tips off 2 of them. I Don't recommend them.

Never used the T3XL, just the T3S. I enlarged the wick slot to 2 mm and wrap a 1.5 ohm 2mm 30 ga coil and wick with cotton. No leaky unless I get them too hot in warm weather or something. I mod my Evod coil heads the same way. Derall Ecigs has 5 packs of the T3S for 14.99 with free shipping.

I got most of my T3's on clearance a while back for 1.99 each.
I have not had one go bad yet.

You wouldn't vape this for $9.00? Just saying.:w00t:
I have no idea what the tank is but would be happy to have the mod in my collection! Want my shipping address?
As mentioned earlier, my choice of the egvods for ADV is all about size, weight, comfort and convenience. Love my Zs but even in 18350 mode they're a tad bit hefty for my shirt pocket.

I got an iStick Basic and was disappointed that a T3 would not fit in it. But a Protank mini will.
Nice little rig anyway nice for shirt pocket.
