I swear mine doesn't wobble at all, my screen is strait, and the threads felt pretty damn smooth out of the box. I guess I got lucky, I'm loving it. Ordered my kit from electronicstix.com. Very pleased.

If i tightened hard mine deos not woble a t all, only if i dont tight enough, i have see reports that the internals will shift out of place by thight too much, thats is why i want to stop the woble without tightened the telescope just to prevent future damage, mine is from the latest batch wich dont have the triple "resistance" scrolling message.

I know what you're saying. The general consensus is the main selling point of the Provari is build quality - and I do not disagree, mine are built like tanks. The surprising thing about the v3 is that for the first time, a chinese mod has excellent build quality also IMHO. LOL I'll set a calendar reminder for 4 months from now and will definitely check in.

Well, it's not quite 4 months yet, but close enough. My Z is still vaping like a champ, no issues - build quality is as good as I expected as it still looks as good as it did the day I unboxed it.

I've had my z for about two weeks and I love it. Great build quality but, my batterys dont seem to last as long as in my old vamo. I'd say I get about half of the vaping time as I did with the vamo. My mech lasts longer with a .6 resistance genny on top! I build my own coils and I use a terminator, nova, kanger t3 and a pro tank all around 2 ohms so I'm not using strange vaporizers. Has anyone else noticed this or is mine an anomaly?

I ordered myself a V3 flat top after reading this thread. I was, and may be in the future, looking at a Provari (mostly because its American made) but the variable wattage was too good to pass up. I got it from Varitube with an extra 18650 battery for under a bill with the 10% coupon code found in this thread. The 90 warranty was the selling point getting it from them. I will post back after I have a bit of time on it, but I am fairly confident that I am going to love it and make my ego's very very lonely.

I have the new "mini" version ... and my batteries definitely don't last as long either. I thought it was maybe "old" batteries, so I bought new ones ... same thing. But, other than that, no complaints ... love my little mini. :)

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one! What a difference in batt life. I'll tell you all, if I knew this about the zmax, I may have looked elsewhere for a new mod. Anyone considering a zmax may want to keep this in mind.

The Zmax battery drain doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me. I've used 1000 mAh batts and 2.0 single coil cartos on the Sigelei and an E-Power 14650. Although the voltage regulation on the Sigelei is far superior the battery drain seemed similar on both at the same power level. The biggest factor I've seen effecting battery capacity is the age of the battery. At some point (way before 300 charges) the battery capacity will drop off quickly. That's when I toss the battery for replacement. Vaping the Sigelei at 6.5 to 7.5 watts I'll get a couple of hours off a 18350, about five hours off a 18500 and most of the day from a 18650. I vape 2-3 ml per day.

I've been having 3 or 4 misfires every day for the last couple of days, I don't really mind it but I'm afraid this is an indication that something is wrong, what should I do??

Some reports here with same issue have report is progressive, gave the mod a good clean out if continues and you are in warranty time for a replacement

this is probably a stupid question, but what should I clean?? the ego/510 conectors, the battery compartment, or do I need to disassemble(don't like that)???

Clean the telescope threading, sometimes get dirty and you will get a poor negative contact, with a cotton ball clean with alcohol and squeez some drops around the buton to the inside to disolve any gunk that may build.

Not telling you this is your problem at all but most times it helps. I use to clean all my mods once every 1-2 weeks

if I squeeze some alcohol in the button is it safe to use right after this or should I let it rest?
