Dude have you tried stacked 350s? It's awesome!!!! 3 times the battery life, easily powers anything.. Barely stresses the chip at 1.5ohm @15w. . 8v's input.
I have to say, I love the way the Nautilus looks with the Sig... so I'll hang on to it for a while, get some higher ohm coils, and see if that makes it vape better.
You may be one of the few that picks up the 33mhz modulation chip. Your innokin vv3 has 800mhz chip. Said to have a
Smother vape.
Fairmana, Definitely not a vaping battery. The v3 needs imr high drain, the chip pulses at 6v and it can draw up to 6-8 amps I hear. That can really toast a 3 amp battery. I'm gonna run some tests over the next few days. I'm currently just using some freebie joyetech 16340 - 750mah high drain. I currently have a 1.7 ohm build of twisted 32. I'm gonna run some tests between stacked and single 18650. Then I will put a 2.7-3.0 ohm build in and test. I really prefer the 32g at 2.7-3, just took it out and put this twisted 1.7 in and the single strand 2.7-3 just heats so much faster. I get a better quick 3 second vape, with more vapor production.
Andria,
I just build my old t3 and I found the draw to be about the same with the top ring on as it was without... You just have to slide the ring on and off when you want to change tanks. That nauti does look nice on there. I really don't see you getting anything different with 2.2 ohm. Since the sigelie is adjustable it can be set Equally with any ohm. (Essentially) your issue i believe is that your not wicking properly to handle the higher wattages the sigelie puts out in pulses. You need to work on the wicking.
That does look nice.![]()
I took a look at the these since they were brought up in the thread recently. I was a bit surprised that they didn't sell higher ohm atomizers for these at the site I was looking at (it might have been the vendor at the link you provided, I can't remember...). I guess I assumed this tank was intended for lower ohm vaping. If they do sell them at higher ohms, I may pick one of these up and try it out. Have you come across a source for >2 ohm atomizers for the Nautilus?
I always took it apart and soaked everything. I use carto tanks now, night and day from the protanks!

I got the new ISP working this afternoon. Yep, U-verse internet runs like blazes compared to the ADSL I had before.
The new V5 I ordered from Desert Vapes Sunday night arrived on Wednesday. I'll be using it exclusively for the 30-day warranty period. The V5 has Sigelei and CE laser logos, metal button and included the cell phone charger and both battery caps. I really don't plan on using the cell phone charger or puff counter but I just wanted to have a V5 to compare to my V3s. It has a two line display when fired. I have it showing watts, a graphic battery charge state icon and puff counter. Menu Item #5: LCD Display as some extra goodies that allow display of current and draw times. Otherwise, a V5 is a V3.
Thanks fairmana and JeremyR for the new switch discussion. My dead V3 is sitting on the workbench and will have to wait there until I finish a rebuild of the electric dryer. Sunny CA allows me to dry clothes on a line in the back yard quickly but that's getting old fast.

Yeah I can relate, on the disappointment of protanks. I have that mini pt II, and the hypertank2, and neither gives as good a vape as the T3S's I have. I keep my morning apple-cinnamon-clove-turkish 10.5mg in the mini pt II, so I don't notice it so much there, since it's hard to taste much of anything when I first wake up, but that cinnamon-apple taste comes thru pretty clearly, it's a strong taste without TH.
I've got the Nautilus back on the Sigelei, set at 3v. It's not burnt tasting, and the wide-open setting was really airy, almost not there, so I set the nautilus to the next-to-largest hole, and now it's definitely there, and this is definitely a much hotter vape than any of the single coil tanks I've used, and I think maybe the low resistance is a factor too; when I tried a LR carto, it made an aluminum driptip so hot I got 2 blisters on my lips. I'll get some of those 2.2Ω coils for it, but it'll have to wait a bit, kinda broke at the moment and next paycheck is the mortgage, so, first things first; the Nautilus can be used on the vv3's, and I have all these lovely T3S's -- and the stainless one looks very nice with the Sigelei:

What it really needs with those tanks is a shorter ring, that would come to just below the air holes on the T3S's base. But I've already been over that issue of rings, and they apparently don't exist for the sigelei, so I just have to deal with the exposed threads. Or find another tank that's as wide as the Sig. Maybe an RBA tank. The rebuilding thing is not that hard, once you do it a few times and get used to it. I was even more terrified of it than of the dry-burning.
Andria
My t3s works perfect with the ring on. Why do you have to take the ring off? Plenty of space between tank and ring opening.
Also, I ordered all these fancy Pyrex tanks (aro, t-dux, aspire ets bdc) and the t3s is the best most flavorful one!! Crazy!!
Edit- sorry, didn't see your follow up post. Another option is I drilled out the 3 airflow holes to 1/16th. Made a huge difference.
