Checking back in on a power output issue I've noticed on my v5. I'm hoping other v5 owners might weigh in on this since it seems that only the v5 is capable of displaying a true power output reading. Here's my last post on it, and the full issue is detailed in posts in the couple pages prior:

Long story short, I was noticing my power output drop from my 7w setting as my 18650s drained (usually the drop happened when the batteries got down to about 3.8v). I then discovered that I couldn't get output above about 8.5w even with a full battery. I suspected the batteries were damaged from "trickle" overcharging overnight.
I got a new 18650 and a couple sets of 18350s as well as a SODA charger. The 18650 is an efest 2500mAh 35A max discharge battery. By now, I've put the 18650 through probably 2 or 3 discharge cycles. I *still* can't get power output above 8.4w.
My stacked 18350s, however, have no issue reaching the highest outputs the v5 is capable of. I've also been very pleased with the battery life. For me, this solution is working great.
However, this makes me question whether any zmax is capable of putting out double digit power outputs with anything less than stacked 18350s, or whether this is something peculiar to my device.
I'd like to ask other v5 owners to weigh in on the max power outputs they've achieved with single batteries, and what batteries they're using. Again, I'm being specific to the v5 since my understanding is that it's the only zmax version that displays true power output.
Thanks in advance.
