I have used the four Efest 18500s almost exclusively in my V3s and V5 since I began to use them in April of 2013. I also have three 18650's and four 18350's. I doubt that any of these 18650s and 18350s have more than 6 charge cycles on them.

Thank you guys Just ordered a couple of purple 18500s, and when I can find, I'm going to get a couple of purple 3100 maH 18650s. Even though their 20A batteries, I never am in a situation where I'm running full-bore.

I rarely vape more than 7.0W which is under 2.0A using a carto tank. The red Efest 18500s are 8.8A batts so that still gives me lots of amp overhead.

I agree. It's smart to keep a good safety margin for the power we vape at and the power limit of the battery.

just got the zmax v5, a little more compact than the svd that now has the button issue. Regarding the button, it could have been more solid on the zmax.good.

Wish they would come up with more capacity. At 25w, a 18350 will loose like 10% in about 3 minutes vaping. With a 15c rating it might give more watts out but will deplete even faster unless we going stacked.

My best batteries right now are a couple of Torchy at almost 900mah and they are the only ones not triggering an "overload protection" at 30w on an evic s.

My v5 arrived today. Loving it so far. Was hoping for a metal button instead of plastic but as long as it holds up i have no complaints. Makes my Aerotank V2 look small. Gives me an excuse to buy some more substantial tanks.

Good to hear from you rallykid and welcome! Glad the V5 is working for you. I'm using my V5 right now. Looks like I'll be ordering a new set of four 18490s or 18500s for it this weekend.

The Sigeleis are rugged devices. The brushed stainless steel finishes hold up extremely well.

It seems solid. The only concern i have is the button seems to be the weak part and rotates a bit. Not sure if that is normal with this mod or if there is a button defect.

The button on Sigelei Zmax is just that: a button. It's a piece of round plastic (or metal for some units) that sits on top of the dome switch and it can be turned. The metal button on my V5 has a soft silicon plastic insert that fits inside and makes contact with the dome switch. The dome switch is mounted to a circuit board. The button is free to turn on top of the switch. Turning the button has no effect on the switch or functions. There are some photos here...

The loose, rotating button is a feature. It will never stick.

I wouldn't say never. It rotated and stuck last night and didn't unstick until i rotated it back. I cleaned it out and it has been fine but that is the reason i asked.

When referring to a stuck button do you mean the button and switch would not move up and down freely? Or do you mean the button has rotated? This could be an issue only if you have a Sigelei with the new chrome plated plastic buttons with the IEC power symbol on them.

It was turned when it fired, i let go of the button and it continued to fire until the button was rotated back. Happened twice yesterday but wiggled it around and hit it with some compressed air and it has been fine since then. It is the chrome plastic button with the power symbol.

I am going to keep an eye on it and see how it does over the next week or so. If it continues to give problems i will exchange it out.
