oh and i cant leave without my input on carto tanks. i hate them. they are a pain to fill a pain to set up, and a pain to keep running well. all i can taste in them now is the polyfill. ive tried setting mine up a thousand ways, used them exclusively for months, tried many "carto gurus" awesome setups, and no one has convinced me to convert.
Interesting - so not everyone loves cartos. I just ordered one of these:

Obviously can't use it without a carto - anything I can do to them to make it taste better?

i solely use an ithaka on my mkb, an igo-w on my sig 13, an rsst on my sig 20, and my personal favorite vape, a ZAP on my purple provari w/green led (totally worth $15 btw).

LOL I spent the extra and got blue. I would have got the green if it was an aqua or mint green. I've Google searched the tanks you mention - they all look very cool. I would need someone to show me how to put them together and rebuild them though.

other than that, i solely use RBA's and kanger protanks (rebuilt with mesh, of course.)
How do I rebuild with mesh? I wanna try that. Will it work on the Protank Mini also?

you just roll up a tiny piece of mesh, burn it with a torch until it turns black, then watch pbusardo's video on rebuilding an evod and do that, except with your protank and with mesh instead of silica

The good thing is I have lots of menthol juice because in a desperate effort to get set up, I ordered three bottles from Mount Baker - each a different variety of menthol. Sad to say none of them are that great, but in a way I'm glad I did it because as long as I mix them with other juices, I have something to vape I can stand.

Well, it looks like you've successfully kicked the analogue habit ... congratulations. Welcome to the vapin' habit. It's supposed to be cheaper but I haven't found that to be true yet. When I started vaping, I knew nothing about juices and thought they were all relatively equal ... NOT! I see you bought some from Mount Baker (MBV) and I did too because they mix their own and I thought they were absolutely nasty. Then I found out about "steeping" or letting them age and blend. Bottom line, after a couple of weeks I tried them again and they were great. If you want to read more, here's a good blog on what steeping is http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/seanchai/5416-what-steeping-how-do-i-do.html. Usually, you don't need to steep commercial juices because they've had time due to warehouse/shipping time. You may already know this but I thought I'd mention it anyway; I almost threw away some good juice because I didn't know.

Oh, by the way, I just realized that steeping also applies to juices that you may mix.

When I read this thread the first time I been vaping a Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic Flat Top for three months. Now I have been vaping the very same Sigelei every day for eight months. It still works perfectly. I bought a second V3 with the new removable top cap upgrade two weeks ago for $42, body only. Here are both side by side. The new V3 shows a small flange between the removable top cap and the main body. The screen on the first Sigelei I purchased in April had a slightly crooked screen from day one. I didn't sweat that.

The Sigelei Zmax V3 Telescopic features Provari doesn't have...
-Variable voltage and variable wattage
-Removable top cap for easy cleaning
-510 and eGo connection
-Great styling (it's in the eye of the beholder)
-A telescopic tube that will fit 18350, 2x18350, 18490, 18500 and 18650 batteries out of the box without having to buy a second APV or optional extension tubes
-A V5 version that adds a puff counter and cell phone charger. (V3 remains in production)

That looks just like the one I received yesterday ... so Provari on clearance is $176 and mine was $40 (without the box or instructions) I'm thinking I can buy another one and a whole lot of juice and accessories with the difference. Don't get me wrong, I will still get a Provari but only after I figure out what I'm doing with these.

I am so confused now!!!! I really want a Provari but I don't want to overspend!!! Sig zmax v3 or v5..... OMG my head is going to expload. I want one device to set at 7 - 8 watts and not go through cartos like crazy!!! I need to be able to stop burning and/ or flooding my cartos. That combinded with blowing through juice is getting expensive. I can do without my 10 evods and go all cartos but need a device that prolongs the carto life! Ugghh!!!! What to do.

I am also switching out all plastic tancks with IBTanked tanks... Bleeding money! !!! Convince me!
