From what I understand (and I could be wrong), the Silver Bullet has a wired switch and an amp limit on that switch, so not a "true" mech. That being said it is very nice and on my list of stuff I want.

Not sure what the amp limit is on the switch but that sound be easy to find out and just keep all of your coils bellow that. The alpha/omega mods are also very nice. I have the 18650 one (can't remember which is which right now) and run 1-1.2 ohm coils on it and works great.

Only other thing besides good batteries and a LOT of research about building coils would be a good charger. Didn't see one on the list, not sure if you have one or not.

It's not, it's technically an electrical APV (has some wires from battery to atomizer).

However, from what I hear it's one of the most reliable mods on the market. :)

For sure, very reliable, I have 2 and rocked them strong for a couple years until I got into high end mechs and building coils. You can't go wrong with a Silver Bullet powering a traditional atty setup. :)
I have an Omega too, but always went back to the Bullet.

Here's my Silver Bullet with an AGA-T2 pyrex tank RBA and Bull's Mod trustone drip tip.

I assume you're going sub ohm if you are going mechanical "for the stuff that my Vamo won't fire..."

Do you have the right batteries for sub ohm vaping? You need a high quality IMR battery that can put out 20 amps of power. Only a few can do this.

I recommend the:

I was waiting for a long time to ask this
What is the vaping time for 1600 mah (-ish) batteries with chain vaping with high currents

I'm not going to be doing anything too crazy. Just some stuff a little lower than what my vamo will fire. As of right now I only have a vamo and have only heard about how solid the SB is.
AW IMR 18650 This is the battery I'm going to be using, it's good up to 10A which is more than what I will be doing because I'm not going above 6 with the Kick.
When I get into the crazy stuff like quad coils and clouds that fill an entire room (which will definitely happen) I'll get a nice fancy mech that costs more than my car. But I like the SB, always wanted one since I started vaping.

Oh and thanks for all of the comments guys. :)

I know the kick has minimum voltage requirements, will it not fire when it gets to that point or will it ruin itself?

I have a Nitecore i2

It won't be long. MAh ratings are a general average of how long a battery will last with normal use. 100 mAh = 1 hour. So using a 1600 mAh battery at 3.7 volts on a standard atomizer (2.0 ohm) should last 16 hours. Increase the voltage or decrease the resistance of the atomizer and you will see less than that. You'll see even less time with sub ohm vaping.

I don't (and won't) do sub ohm vaping, so I can't answer with specifics. I know that with my 2000 mAh AW 18650 IMR's, using a 2.0 ohm coil in a AGA-T2 rebuildable on a Provari, I get far less than the 20 hours that the mAh rating says I should. (I do get 20 hours with a 2.0 ohm cartotank, so yes a RBA pulls way more amps than typical atomizers do.) My guess is you might only get half the listed mAh rating time with sub ohm.

(Hint 1 - get plenty of batteries)
(Hint 2 - resist the temptation to purchase a battery solely on a higher mAh rating, if you are going to do sub ohm vaping safely you NEED a battery that puts out high amps.)
