I finally had enough of trying to contact eleaf and having them ignore me, so I decided to delve into the issue I was having. Like many others, my center post had recessed and I was getting either "low atomizer" or "no atomizer" along with the fact that it wouldn't fire. The solution, is easier than it seems. Yes, you could go with a spacer, however, I do not like the idea of the post pushing down into the mod any more than it's supposed to.
Anyway, here are some pics:
**Disclaimer!! I am not responsible for what you do. If you blow yourself up, shock yourself, or otherwise harm yourself, it is of your own volition, not mine. ALWAYS BE SAFE AND MAKE SURE YOU device IS OFF AND REMEMBER, JUST BECAUSE IT IS OFF, DOES NOT MEAN IT CAN NOT SHOCK YOU. CAPACITORS CAN AND WILL STAY CHARGER**
You want to start by removing the two T5 Torx screws.
GENTLY lift up the top cap. VERY GENTLY!! There is not much play in the wires.
See that white glob of mystery stuff? That is the issue. You want to gently take a #1 screw driver and very lightly push up on the center of the white blob until you see the center pin rising and the o-ring below it returning to normal.
Put the top cap back on and screw the T5s back in. Next, take a paperclip, needle, or a small screw driver and gently push the o-ring under the center post back under the pin. Alternatively, at this point, you could opt to replace this ring with a more substantial one, negating the issue in the future. You have now solved your receding center pin issue!! Give her a vape!!
