If you really want to fall asleep, get over the counter diphendramine (aka Sominex, "night time sleep aids", etc), 50 mg, gelcaps. I had a horrible time falling and staying asleep period, even before vaping. I no longer drink caffeine... if I do, I do it in tiny, tiny amounts. Just too sensitive. When I want to go to sleep, I pop two of those, and it's nighty-night in about 30 to 45 minutes. Only downside is I'm super groggy in the mornings. Ironic in that I can't touch coffee. :(

Ok - I have been fortunate - I basically found that I am sleeping better. Less waking up - other than the washroom trip because of all the water - but I just feel I am getting a more restful sleep. Maybe because I am breathing easier?

I guess what I don't understand is if a person smoked cigarettes - right up until bedtime - why is vaping different? You would have still been getting nicotine. So - my take on this would be that it is more a result of withdrawal from all the "other" stuff in cigarettes.

I've been off cigarettes for about a year and a half and still ocassionally find myself having trouble falling asleep. I found that if I just didn't vape about an hour before bed it was ok. I'm using 36mg liquid and can really feel it if I'm just laying in bed chain vaping watching tv! NyQuil realeased a product called Zquil that works wonders! One thing I do miss about the first month quoting/starting to cape is the lucid dreams!!
