If you're new, that's a fairly common experience. You'll get over it in time. For now, try to use lower nicotine or cut down some on vaping for a few hours before you go to bed. I had a little of that experience, although it wasn't so much difficulty sleeping as really strange and bizarre dreams. Must've been a side effect of detoxification, but it only lasted a few months.

I got my brother to vape after I had success, he has some of the funniest dreams: outsourcing the Presidential and senators elections, cause nobody in the USA can afford the campaign commercials, was today's dream. Which could happen one day, so maybe not so bizarre.

As mentioned, its most likely the nicotine. Nicotine is a stimulant, so the more you take in the more you will feel awake. Try to have your last vape at least 30 min before you want to go to bed

Unless you're used to it by now...im dead ... tired and have been chain vaping since 5pm. It's normally like this...but tonight.......

5 or 6 stiff rum & cokes will take care of your sleeping problems

Actually nicotine is both a stimulant AND a depressant, supposedly stimulant in smaller doses, depressant in higher doses. Still seems like even in high doses close to bed time it can cause sleeping problems, or at the very least crazy ... dreams.

I never had any idea about this until I tried the patch once and was using a full patch and leaving it on overnight... probably not using it as instructed. Have gotten very familiar with it using swedish snus, which comes in strengths from 8mg up to close to 20mg. If I'm using lots of the strong stuff through the day I might find myself unnaturally tired at some point and realize I've overdone the nic. And I've had to get in the habit of making sure I stop using it about an hour before bed to keep the restless sleep and crazy dreams away.

Never had much problem with restless sleep, but I kind of miss the crazy dreams. They were the only ones I've had for a very long time that were worth remembering.

Haha, yeah I rarely remember dreams, and crazy might be a mild way to describe nic dreams. Intense and insane! If I didn't feel like I wasn't getting a good night's sleep when I've had them it might be worth doing on purpose every now and then. Definitely wake up going wow! ...! And cheaper than going to the movie theater!

Wow I thought it was only me... great to see there's a whole pack of us midnight tokers. I used to be in bed my midnight maybe 1am on work days but now if I get to sleep by 3am I'm happy. The last thing I remember from last night was glancing over at the clock reading 4:53am. I wake up at 7am and am at work by 8. Not a happy camper. Think a half an ambien a night until my sleeping patterns get back to normal might do the trick.
