I have 2 Infernos that only hold a charge for about 1/2 hour. thankfully, the are PTs and work great this way, for the time being. my want is for a slip-on mini USB connection to give these a more secure connection..
I like the look of these, obviously not to go that far up the battery- perhaps only 3/4 inch high so you can see how you're plugging it in:

I only want to find the USB cord attached to that type of bottom that will fit over the end of my Inferno, containing the mini USB connection necessary to use as a PT. does that makes sense?
if no one makes them, would it be possible to do it myself? and have it look good? electrical tape came to mind, but.. oogly. are there any foreseeable issues with my design in mind?
