Slow loading?

Yes, it's very slow here, and I know for a fact it's not a bandwidth issue on my side.
to clarify - i've not experienced a delay in loading times like the posters above - running xp pro, ff 15.0.1 with adblock plus
but as of this morning i cannot 'reply with quote' or complete an edit ..................

while the ff circle keeps spinning without getting anyplace when i click 'reply with quote,' there is no response whatsoever when i get into edit and try all 3 buttons - save, go advanced, cancel .............
got confirmation from redfox on this same problem using ff. he switched to chrome to get the functionality back. since i have ie8 as a back-up browser i'm using that now to edit. unfortunately, the loading times for ie8 are far, far worse than what i experienced in ff.
i understand that the coders no longer worry about ie8 but ff should be a different story. i checked - still running the same version as i did yesterday - 15.0.1 - so it's not an update on ff but something that was done on ecf that's causing all these problems.
edit! after another round of cache and cookie clearing, signing out and rebooting things are back to normal in ff

I've been having extreme delay issues as well - for a couple of weeks now. Funny though, as long as it takes to load the pages, I'm not getting time-out errors. I can't tell you how many times I've checked my internet connection thinking that was the issue......I have my network and sharing center open in the task bar so I can see whether I'm receiving or not....
lol - it must be my lucky day - i have not experienced any problems with the site in the past week. i had lost some functionality in the reply boxes but that corrected itself after repeated cookies and cache clearings. since i've had plenty of problems with slow loading in the past i can only assume that one of the servers is lagging and, this time around, it's not the one i'm on.

aniters, when you get online with verizon like i do, you need some luck occasionally to stay sane, lol
but - i have no doubt that you're having problems. i've been in that boat too many times myself while other ecf members sailed right through.

Slow, slow, slow...hate to say it but the slowest site on the web in my travels.
It's actually running better for me tonight than it did the latter part of last week and over the weekend *knocks on wood*
