Let us know what you think when you get it all together. I'm really enjoying mine. If you really like it and want interchangeable toppers pre filed with alot of diff juices and ones that will go right on that Hybrid adapter, the 3.1 clone from FT matches the semi polished Semovar very closely and is well made. I dont know if you can tell from this pic.....Semovar/Hybrid/FT sold 3.1 clone. The light from my flash keeps bouncing off the Semo...

Can't tell from the pic at all. Looks good. How do you have your KF 3.1 in hybrid mode setup? I.e cotton?

Yeah. Im really enjoying the cotton build. Ive been doing a micro coil with 28 Kanthal on a 5/64 drillbit using 7 wraps to get a 1.1 ohm coil. This one will give you a very powerfull vape...pretty hot and lots of vapor on the Semovar and Provari.

I also use a piece of tightly twisted 28 Kanthal (using s drill to twist) and do 8 or 9 wraps on the same 5/64 drill bit and it come out to a 1.7 ohm coil. Between the twisted wire and the 1.7 OHM coil, I seem to get a bit more flavor, but have to up my volts/watts.

I use alot of cotton in mine, lightly stuffing it in the cylinder making sure to cover the "juice channels" on the bottom.....I will also bring my cotton back up and lay it on the side of my coil so I wont ever get any dry hits ( I vape constantly)

If you use an excess of cotton like me, The biggest thing to remember is after stuffing what ever you want to in that chamber/chimney cylinder.....get a tooth pick or tiny screw driver or what ever and make sure the little air hole that is directly under the coil is unrestricted so you get "power Vape" coming through the chimney.

Woops....more than you asked. I tend to ramble... :p

Very nice Mr. Bond! Have the same setup and love it too. Great pics too. Here's one of mine:

Semovar with Kayfun 3.1 in hybrid mode.jpg

Semo with 3.1 in hybrid mode. I do baby the heck out of mine. Mine does not leave the house. I have Provari's for that. The Provari durability is well established, and I have experienced countless drops with them. The APV's are close to equal in my mind. The question of long term durability remains open on the Semovar, though. As far as warranty, I'm good with their one year warranty. As far as repairs to Europe, I have zero problems and probably buy half my gear from Europe now. If I have to choose Chinese gear, or European gear, European is vastly superior in terms of quality. I think I have bought vape gear from 10 different countries now and have had zero issues. My ADV is my Provari and SnP. My special vape is my Semo/KF. My GG gear is hard to beat on the mechanical side when I want to go lower than 1 ohm (.8-1.0 ohms usually). Not a cloud chaser, but some liquid can use the setup a bit better, with good air flow and juice control. YMMV. Good stuff. Like this thread. Thanks everyone for contributions. Have a great year!

Not sure...dont recognize the name Truman. This is just my trial and error build and what Ive settled in to.

Ive tried a vertical build which was kinda fun to try. I seemed to get more flavor and less vapor. But sometimes in my own mind I confuse myself with whats better and whats not.

Also a dual coil build both horizontal and vertical.

I usually end up with what Ive mentioned above. It just works for me.

Sensei? I think we're at about the same vape space at the moment. I did try about 30 Chinese devices before spending on the better APV's, which precluded the need to vape anything else now. I've sold most of the Chinese devices. They were great to learn on, but cannot provide the vape of the Provari or the Semo. I think I have a few iTaste 3.0's and a Kir Fanis Evic and a few Sigelei Mechs left. The Sigelei V3/V5 may be the best Chinese device under $100, and I certainly prefer it to the MVP 2. I don't use them anymore, so they went to good homes. Also, I think we DIY about the same now, or close to it. Also, Mr. Bond, you may be doing more coil work than I am at the moment. I find it hard to get the time to work on my rebuildables and use carto tanks much of the time. Pictures? Here's what I mainly use these days:

Provari SnP Dos.jpgGG and Ithaka.jpgSemovar with Kayfun 3.1 in hybrid mode.jpgCartos 1.jpg

BTW, I know of no one that knows when the Svoe Mesto Semo Mech pieces are coming out. But when they do, it may prove to be the best combo/hybrid mod out there. We shall see. Can't wait. Also, the Svoe Mesto Mini 2.1 is a great dripper and combo device that you might want to check out with the 14 mm head. Good luck to you in your VapeQuest! Have a great 2014!
