Hi Thunderball. Thanks for the comment. The origin is the clone. What I did was bought two sets from Ft one stainless and one brass. But I am not a fan of mechanical mods so I took some of the brass parts and had them 24k gold plated. But the problem that I have is Origin is 21mm outside diameter and the semovar is 22. So I am looking for some other clone mods that have the same threading as the semovar so I can have them to be flash with each other. I can get them made here locally at any machine shop but I don't to spend a fortune. Already gold plating cost me too much.

Some Vape Porn here.... On the far right is my recent 2nd Semo purchase ( in 18500 mode) and its topped with an (Ready Bill?) An original Kayfun III serial number 102 in a stacked "Beast Mode"....LOL

I recently made this purchase from a member in the classies and am pretty stoked about the old Kayfun. After some searching, I found what appears to be the original thread about the Kayfun and am now feeling like a car collector that found an old muscle car in a barn or something. It holds a bit over 10 ml of juice. I know its rediculously big, but it is nice to vape all day without refilling.

The Provaris are there for moral support. I dont know what that means, but it sounds rather clever.

EDIT: I got the phrase beast mode from that old post..when they stacked tanks. If you click on this link, the first post shows you how to put it together......the 4th post shows one with a serial number on it. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...mesto-kayfun-iii-es-discussion-questions.html

This will be old hat to Thrasher I would think.....Probably had the t shirt and is waxing his boat with it down there in sunny Florida...

103? That's funny, both of mine also show serial number 103....

Let's allow that to sink in...

The original Kayfun 3.0, Mr. Bond? Very nice. If I recall correctly, the delta 3.0 v. 3.1 is the fill valve and some configuration differences? ;)

Wish I had one (3.0), lol. And, a second Semy? And, look at that picture! Is that photo-shopped, or Google Images? Hard to tell.

But, seriously, my friend, some very nice additions. Happy for you. Good looking high-end collection.

So what's the overall opinion here? Semovar is good or Semovar is bad?

What's a good price for a 18650 Semovar with hybrid connector? Does it perform well? This 70+ thread has quite of bit of chatter to read it all... (sorry).

Looking for some guidance PLEASE... Thanks in advance.

Overall opinion: semovar is good
Price: there's not much variation on price, just like the provari - Cloud9Vaping is one of the better vendors in terms of warranty and support

Semovar is good. Provari is good. I like both, use both, love both. The world of vaping would be incomplete without both. If you want high end variable wattage in a tube device, the Semovar is at the top of the heap with the Nivel Chip. Both are top quality, great warranties, superb vaping devices. My :2c:.

Both are great mods. If you are interested in variable wattage then get the Semovar, I use both and very satisfied with both of them, the only downside of the semovar is the battery life, but if you do some tweaks, then it will last a little longer. ( turn the provided battery spring backwards having the spring touching to the battery and also turning the button led off and also deem the screen to the lowest setting. Oh by the way if you are in the states intaste sells it for 134.45Eur but you have to create a account first otherwise the price for non US buyers is 160EUR

When you get your semovar, remove the battery cap. On the cap there is a threaded brass pc where underneath is the spring. Just unscrew the brass piece from the cap and turn it upsidedown then screw it back. This way the spring is outside towards to the battery. This way you don't have to adjust the brass piece all the time plus you won't get any E1 or E5 errors also will help a little on the battery life.
