I just read this whole thread in one sitting,DAM!,that's a bunch of reading.I just bought a used semovar,it should be in my grubby paws later today.I gotta work tonite so I won't get much play time till wednesday.I have a 3.1 and the semovar is supposed to have the adapter. That means it comes off the ELA and goes on the semy when I do get playtime.Thank you for the invite Mr.Bond,my questions have been answered by the fine contributors in this thread.I will post some crappy pics when I can.It sounds like my provari's and futura will get some rest now.

Hey aziffel !! (Arnold?).. :p

I didnt know you read all of this post... I just sent you a Pm with some of my ramblings......disregard..\

Im going to be real curious as to what you think after a few short days......seeing you have the Futura and Provari. Report back...good or bad......

My first one was new but my second one was used as well.

Do any if you longtime semovar and 3.1 users have any trouble with condensation or e-liquid collecting in the tank on the 3.1?
Its not flooding or giving dry hits, just a lttle juice or condensation.(its a bunch darker than my juice)
Everytime I take the bottom off mine,it has some liquid in it.I really don't want to use the adapter on my new to me semo and fry the electronics with juice seeping into the nivel chip.

I've had dark juice plenty of times, and always attributable to too high of power setting. We are atomizing the juice. Juice that is not atomized is darkened. Could be too much juice, not enough air flow, or too high of heat. Very fixable with the Kayfun. Play with those three until it resolves the problem. Juice in the collector tank is the same issue, too much heat, juice flow, or too little air flow. Easy fix.

Excellent suggestions! I had juice building up in the well on my 3.1 and it turned out to be the airflow. I loosened up the draw a bit and now there is maybe a drop at most after a tank.

Low heat(usually 10 watts or <4v)airflow completely open, not overfilled with juice.
I think it's condensation,I'm trying to remember to let off the button a little early and clear out any remaining vapor to see if that does it.

I hear you. But gurgling, flooding and eventually leaking is almost always an overwicking issue. The proper atomization requires that our draw, our air flow, our juice, our build, our heat, our juice, even atmospheric conditions, all work together to atomize our juice at a level that is balanced. The advantage of the high end devices is their ability for us to tailor each of these variables to work at an optimum level. If you keep tinkering with them, you can achieve this vaping homeostasis, as thousands of users have. All of us run into wicking issues. It can take time to find the right combination of "ingredients" to get everything to balance out. It's not magic. It's science. Bernoulli's principle. Pressure is the key. State O'Flux has an excellent writing about this principle:

We can either embrace and tinker to get our gear to work for us, or throw our hands up and say this just sucks. I'll take the former. Frustrating? At times, yes. Fixable? With the right gear and juice and build, every time. Just sayin'... Vaping is not to the point where we can take a device out of the box, use it on any battery with any juice, and it works perfectly. We may never get there. But the addition of air flow control, now in our new clearos, existing in our high-end gear, also performs juice control, and with our ability to DIY, make our own coils, we really can get some outstanding vapes now. Truly fantastic. Wasn't always this way. I'm loving the new devices. I certainly was not able to quit on the gear in 2009 or in 2011. I love how far we've come, and truly appreciate the remarkable devices available to us now. Yeah, I've had to learn a lot to work with these variables. Maybe they can be mastered, maybe not. But at least we have enough options now to tune our devices into vaping Nirvana. For this I am grateful. YMMV. My two cents! Power up and Vape On!

got mine today:D
Very nice indeed top quality, had been using my kayfuns with innokin svd and cool fire 1 units.
what a world of difference!
funny thing is the V3 seems to deliver the same if not more vapour on a power setting 1-2watts less than the svd.
only started vaping a month and a half ago and now a fully signed up SvoeMesto fanboy!

[the vape is also so immediate, just a touch of the button and a whoomph, the svd by comparison seems to have to spend a little more time, very nice for short nips!]

:D
