Indeed. Old and new KFL+ work on old Semo w/ old 510 and new semo with old 510. Neither fits flush on the new 510.

Suck for me is temporary. I notified intaste, who is forwarding me to the factory. I will get satisfaction on this unless, of course, that I don't. Assuming that I do get contact, I will also see what can be learned about sticker voltage drops and the missing mech button.

I got faith in you... ask if there is ever going to be any future nivel chips, or replacement chips for the semovar too
I've seen the pipeline pro, and the taifun eye, both have higher amp/wattage limits (I know on the eye, I think on the pipeline).. but very similar chip designs, could be made to be a simple board swap.

I enjoy reading about the experiences of others Semovar users, the obsession with voltage drop (yes, I constantly aim for a 0.1 drop), the comparisons with a mate who's on the Provari.
I'd experienced the whistle of the KFL+, the wicking issues and all.

Leech and Tamer, I'm sure you can find someone in the USA that sells "model train parts".
So, SM admits that their qc guy is on special assignment in Eastern Ukraine. I am to send them the old 510, and then they will send me a new one. Whatever. I will ask other questions after this issue is resolved. In my case, there is a burr in the threads. If my eyes can see it, it is a problem.
In the meantime, we are making do this way. Family photo:

No, not North Korea. There was a clue in the nicorette link he posted. When I was there, I was also warned against hugging in public, or something along those lines. I was pretty blasted my whole brief trip, so there may be additional oddities that I cannot recall. Definitely no dip though. I dipped on the plane to keep under control, and another passenger advised to hide it upon arrival.
He bought it used, but it wasn't a bad cap. Apparently the kayfun had some pliers taken to the threads by the previous owner . For some reason my cap didn't mind the jacked up threads but his did lol .

LOL!!!!!...well..we do manage eventually..the good thing about banning stuff is that it makes you discover your criminal abilities..I'm currently laying down a plan to buy an IVP 2 and have it smuggled to Egypt. The classifieds were kind to me..I can always convince the seller to take the mod out of the box and bubble wrap it and ship it to my courier account in the US.
Leech will have to find a forum that has classifieds for chewing gum!..a bit of a challenge IMO
So what else shall we ask Ethermion to inquire about...the chip upgrades, the voltage drop, the mechanical button...did I forget anything?
