I have all the tubes and configuration accessories for the Provari and the Semovar. I can bling the Provari with the best of them. Seems like I never bother anymore. They just stay in 18650 mode. Same with toppers. I have four Taifun's in rotation, with at least two ready to go at any time.

Lately, I have been concentrating on juices. I now have 30 or so ADV's, and I'm loving that as much, if not more, than anything else I do. I'm pretty much stuck with my BMV Coiler 1.2 ohm TMC's, and now with KGD. All I can say is that when I started, I never knew vaping get be this good. While it can be better, I'm just not into that much work anymore. I need easy....and consistent...and very little effort. I get tired just reading about the latest coils, or new wicking material, even new materials in coils and wicks. Leave me alone! I'm happy, happy, happy...should write a song.

I am going to buy the Eye, though, when it comes back in stock. Since the missus has followed me throughout my journey (starting in 2009), I guess I mean buy two Eyes, lol. Best to you all!

It could be
* Battery efficiency
* More/better features like the "Hot Start" in The Eye, "Heat Protection" like in the Pipeline Pro, being able to use flathead batteries etc.
* Adjustable pin
* Better menu system where the stuff you don't change that often are in an extended type of menu like Semovar or Pipeline Pro.
* Maybe an Oled screen

Seems it will be a VW device but not above 24 watts:

"Provape will be unveiling a new Provari. They have finally taken the plunge and are coming out with a new variable wattage version. My sources tell me that this will be a 24 watt board and have a completely different display. The top cap will be interchangeable so you can have different looks. This is 100% confirmed by multiple sources."

Bill, I understand the simple part. I build the same coil every time. Started out making a wooden coiling tool that hand 3 different drill bit sizes. Well I have lost 2 of the bits but I know that 6 1/2 wraps of 28g close but not tweezer tight gives me 1 ohm everytime. So that is what I use in all my tanks. KGD really made it simple and I've been using mostly mech mods. I just got a Super-T Ela and am totally happy. With a simple 1/8 turn I can use any 18000 series battery I want.

Everything is just wild speculation without sources from ProVape, and they aren't saying anything...

What is the source of this quote, my friend?

Lucky you! Those Super-T's are very nice. I like them, though I really don't use mechs very often anymore. Recently, I sold my Just GG and Ithaka (authentic) for I belive $20 less than I paid, so I'm definitely not going in that direction. It seems to me that Regulated devices are heading toward low ohms (.5 ohms) and higher wattage (20+ watts), which mirror what many mechs can do, but they can maintain a more consistent vape, for a longer period. This suits me pretty well. I have never vaped anything over 14 watts, and I don't anticipate that I will need to do so anytime soon. Every now and then I'll make a coil that won't fire on my Provari, so I'll throw it on a mech, but I usually build coils in bunches of ten, and usually just replace the non-firing coil. I prefer flavor over vapor and think my vapor from my RTA's does a pretty good job. I have a dozen or so drippers, so I know what I like. I do like dripping, but as I chain vape frequently, I find it more work and time consuming than I really have to commit to my vaping experience. My two cents. KISS...

Yeah, I just read it on Vapor Joe's and was going to edit my question. It's probably accurate.

My guess is that the Provari and the Eye may very well use the same chip. 24 Watts is kind of an odd number to come out with, and both seem to be targeting that. Now if we can get a few more specifics, a price list and a list of colors, I can notify accounting to prepare the purchase order. Assuming this is true, looks like I'm going to be buying at least four new APV's shortly. Well, I deserve it. I haven't bought an APV since last October. I'm due!

Looks like I am getting atleast two. I have a birthday coming up now, and it looks like I'm getting another Pipeline Pro in another size. I can't praise them enough. Unlike what they say in the reviews, it's really easy to get a Kayfun to sit flush. The Eye looks great too, but it's 23mm. I will wait for the Provari 3.0, watch the reviews and compare their specs.

As for why it is 24w, I don't know. It's a bit on the high side for the 18350 batteries. The AW 18350 has an amp limit of 6.8A, doesn't it? If the battery is running low at around 3.4V, you will push around 6.85V through it at 24W, and that's a bit high. Of course, the 6.8A rating is continuous, so it could be OK to pulse it. Then again, you could have a safety feature making it impossible to hit 24W when the battery is that low. The Eye does have "Amp mode", and that could very well play a part in monitoring the current input, though.

Myself, I rarely use drippers, and I stay in the 9-14W range so I'd be fine either way.

I think the purple efest 350s are 10.5 amps

Even if it was the pulse as long as your drags aren't longer then 60 seconds its kool, my drags are what 4-7 seconds each tops
I was under the impression that a "pulse" was 5-7 seconds, but yeah, you are right. You should be fine even if was rated as pulse.

I was just throwing around some ideas as to why it is a 24W mod. :)

I have 2 red efest and 1 purple efest (all 18350) and the purple one is noticeably heavier than the red ones and the purple one lasts longer too...All bought new from reputable vendors....just FYI.

I think I said it already, but assuming the specs that have leaked about the pv3 I'm guessing it's the same chip from the eye.....then again, maybe 24w is the max wattage to safely allow all the battery sizes? I'd be willing to bet the latter considering ProVape intent to market to all battery sized users? Just a guess, I don't know.

Yh a lot of people think this including me before i looked into it, its been spread around forums but its just not true. If you had the lung capacity to exceed the pulse duration on a single hit i'd want you to teach me how!
