It depends on how much she vapes, but, honestly, I don't think so. Most of us who started with cigalikes used to bring at least two fully charged batteries and a box of prefilled cartomizers with us when we were going out.

The largest mini battery is about 300 mAh, which means, conservatively, maybe 2.5 hr of moderate vaping, depending on the wattage. Even the largest cartomizers (2.5 ml capacity) need to be topped off before they are drained to prevent burning. If she's willing to bring spares with her, she should be fine. There are many mini and super mini batteries on the market, both kr808D-1 (Volt, Bloog, G6, Kanger) and 510 (Joye) threaded; they will work with both filler type cartomizers and clearomizers, like Nano or Kanger T4. the kr808 batteries are 3.7v, the Joyetech 510 batteries are 3.3v (regulated).
