Small like a traditional cig, but powerful like the larger models?

It's probably been close to a year since I went back from e-cigs to real ones. But now I'm thinking of going back to e-cigs again.

When I last vaped, I tried two different models. The Vapor King, which was the same size as a real cigarette, but didn't pack much punch. Then I switched to a joyetech eGo-T which was powerful but also very large in size. A little too large for my preference.

Are there any e-cigs that are small like a traditional cigarette but still hit like the big guys? Or can I not have my cake and eat it too?

You get what you pay for. Lol, pretty much you will never find a small cigalike that will produce the flavor/vapor you are searching for when you use the term "hit like the big guys".

The Ego-T is a small battery compared to box mods, and larger 26650 mods lol.

Im not too familiar with small mods that pack a punch, so hopefully someone will come along and answer this better than me.

That's not a bad little unit. I may have to try one of those as a traveler. I usually will pick up a blu or the like prior to air travel. How does this tank hold up to pressure changes? Are they known leakers?

To the OP, this could be a good starter for you. My wife swore she would never carry anything around larger than the standard Cig-a-like when she started. Now she is rocking an Istick 30 with a Lemo tank! She even asks to take a hit off my IPV mini 70W with the Cthulhu or Billow V2 quite often now. You kind of have to get over the stigma issue if you are going to commit hard enough to quit smoking.

I've only used a V2 Pro Series 3. It doesn't look like a cigarette, but it also does not look like an implement of destruction. It makes what I'd consider to be a decent amount of vapor if you use an e-liquid higher in VG than the kind they sell at V2. I blow out what seems to be a comparable amount of vapor as I did smoke. You may want to look into one of these. However, I must note that they are a proprietary system. You can't mix and match parts from any other manufacturer. If that's not an important factor for you, then it might do what you are looking for. There is even a thread here about how to hack their tanks to change the wicks and coils, or to reuse the supplied ones to get more use out of a cartridge than they say.

When I first started vaping I began with an e-roll, it's a cig a like and got me through the first year of my vaping experience. I now have an assortment of ego's and an i-stick 30 plus I just won a Lavatube 2.5 all of which are much much bigger than an e-roll but I still have my e-roll and occasionally use it too. :)

Batteries haven't changed a whole lot in the past year. They are the ones limiting how much power you can have in how small a package.

If you want more power in a small package, look at 18350 mechanical mods. They are indeed thicker, but you can have a setup as short as a 100-cig. They're 100mm, right? You won't have the power of an 18650, of course. And you do have to play it safe with mechs.

Sorry, but think in a more logical manor. Look for something that will work not something to replicate a bad habit. You already went there and it failed.

Quitting is as much a mind set as anything.

Far as I know not prone to leaking. I don't do any altitude changes so sorry can't comment on that part.

It is a great little device though. Just have to keep a charger handy.

Have to agree with this. Only way to change a bad habit is a complete life style change.

Good luck on your quest, hope it works out this time.

I don’t know of any cig-a-likes to be honest that can really have the power of the bigger devices but I’m out of touch with the cig-a-likes these days.

Anyway I have an idea, how about getting two?

Could get a big device which whilst maybe not to your preference as far as size would give you the big vapour and all that stuff when you need it. And a cig-a-like to for when you just want a thing that feels as close as to a tobacco cigarette as you can get it.

That way you could have the best of both worlds.

Alot of us, including me wanted a cig-alike yet powerful vape when we first starting our vape journey. Mostly because it reasembles a cigg.
But sadly that's not realy possible.
VV ego / vision spinner with say a miniprotank 2/3 is quite small yet not a cigg style size. But that was what worked for me. But quite quickly i wanted to advance, and starting to look at mods. I was abit annoyed by the sizes etc. But it quickly grew on me.
Nowadays i don't care at all about the size, apart from that it has to be pocket-able. (not sure if this is a word, sorry :S)

Maybe a 350mah ego with a mini protank 2 (3 requires to much power) 1.8 ohm coil would almost reasemble a cig-alike. Abit thicker but still better.
It won't last you long though so you would need to carry several batteries to last a day.

So my suggestion would be, try to overcome the "size issue" and buy either a cheaper but good regulated device such as istick 30w (not50) or subox kit (larger but better, and looks good.) To get a true and good vape experience, it'll help alot with quitting the ciggs.
There's so many options out there so it's realy hard to suggest what is the "best" because everyone of us prefer a diffrent device.

But if you overcome the size issues i'd recommend:
Istick 30w
Kanger subox
Mvp 3 pro

Or if you don't want a mod, EGO 650mah++ (Or vision spinners 1300mah) + some small and nice tank with it. (The ego 350mah is way smaller but last like 2 hour max....)

If all this seems to much, the standard EVOD kit that comes with 2 batteries and 2 evod tanks + 5 atomizers is a realy good beginners kit. It's abit ancient by todays standards but it's small, gives a reasonable vape. Atleast to get started. :)

Edit:

Took a quick picture of a simple EVOD setup vs my current mech mod 18650 mod.
To give a size comparision.

i use smokeless image manual volt batteries with mini tanks. i use them when i want a cigarette.

i like them well enough for that.
i usually use a reo grand, provari, mvp or coolfire 4.
but when i want a cigartte i pull out a volt battery with some stripes flavored niquid and it does the trick for me.
