smells wrong

Can someone check his mod, i have the subox mini and i've been using it for like a week now and when i remove the battery and smell the mod its like something is burning even if i didnt use it for 2 days, i usually remove the battery if i am not vaping. Is it normal?

Its smells burnt when u smell the place where u put the batteries, just check plz and tell me

I don't have the sub box mini, just speaking from experience using anything battery operated, especially high drain devices. If it's smelling burnt where the batteries go, you probably got an issue somewhere

I have a Subox Mini and it never smells "burnt". Try new batteries and maybe smell the old ones. If it's the mod, have it checked out.

I don't have one, but that doesn't sound good at all. The battery compartment should not smell burnt. I would be very worried about using it. It's probably a piece of burnt insulation on a connecting wire or a fried component on the board.

Most electronics have a "robot fart " odor when new...does the box it came in smell the same?

Are you still using the batteries that everyone has told you not to use because they're out of a flashlight or something and not rated safe for vaping? That could be the problem.

Yes, but is it the same one that's smelling burnt? You need to get rid of that battery (or batteries, if you have more than one) and get proper batteries for use in a mod.

Yep mine has a bit of electronics smell always has had and works fine. My VTC mini has the same smell and works fine always has had it. Some of us smell things that others don't. And this is vaping both at 14 watts with genuine HG2 batteries.
Never had either device over 30 watts.
