I don't have a g-priv so what kind of lock did they use? Is it a specific type as it uses the touch screen? On the alien a pretty standard 5 click lock/unlock the fire button/bar works to keep that from happening.
It's its own button. press it to turn off screen, hold for 2 seconds to lock. that is all the button does. it is a nice feature

Is the touch screen really worth it? What kind of tank comes with the G-Priv?
The big baby beast comes with the kit. of course you can always buy the mod and whatever tank you want separate as well.
really depends on you. I like both the gpriv and the alien

Tiny silver bar above the big firing bar to turn the screen off or lock the screen down completely. One issue is that it resets to off when you change batteries and the G-Priv jumps to 220w as soon as your palm covers the screen it seems.

Great and not so great. Toasted a coil on that mod too!

Ah, that's not nice. That does not happen on my Alien when changing batteries. It holds the prior settings, although prompts about a new coil (I think, I'll have to look later to be sure, but it definitely holds the power or temp setting when swapping batteries).

The guy in the shop wherei bought my alien said it comes with a 120 day warrenty and if I have any problems to take it back. In the box it says the warrenty is six months. Hmm.
I think the 120 day is for you to return it to the shop for a repair/replacement, anything after the 120 days, you would have to contact SMOK to sort it out. The local shop I frequent matches the manufacturer's warranty. Just my thoughts on it from my own experience.

My Alien does too. I was referring to the wattage being locked while in use. The G-Priv had this feature and the Alien doesn't.

I love my alien for it's battery life. I like how it manages to fit a 25mm atti. At first I got the alien for my cloud beast, reason was because I was seeing everyone going up real high in wattage and thought that was the key to vaping - to get a big cloud with high wattage. Now I have a .34 build at 60 watts and realize that I don't need my alien to go high in wattage. I love it for the battery life I get and it's informative display, as well as its fire button and other functionality it offers. I haven't had issues (except for high battery drainage when I was obsessed with the high wattage thing :)).

Browsed through the alien threads and tried a search but couldn't find what I was looking for. My problem is I was using my alien and drained the batteries more than I usually would (was out and didn't have my spares with me), when I put them on my nitecore d4 the voltage read 3.28. I was wondering what the cut off point should be as I feel this is to low and thought they might be a problem with the mod. Hope someone can share some light on this, thanks in advance!

3.28 is fine. General rule I live by (especially with mechs which have no cutoff) is do not go below 3.
