Smok M80 Plus Question

I recently got the smok M80 Plus to replace my Aspire C.F. SUB Ohm. I wanted something not too expensive but will let me use a variety of tanks and eventually rda/RTAs. Yes I know temp control is wrong/funky but I'm not concerned about it. My main question is, whenever I charge my M80 it'll get to 99% but never 100%, I'll keep charging it at 99% but it never changes so I just unplug it. Is this normal or does it just take a while to hit 100%? I can live with 99%, I just want to make sure I didn't get a defective unit. Also my M80 came with V7 firmware, but I can't find much information about it, does anyone know what's different with the V7 firmware?

Yes it takes awhile for it to reach 100. As far as the firmware. I have no clue

My unit came with v0006 and I upgraded it to v0007-1. I have not notice any difference in performance in anything including TC.
Using a temperature gun and NI200 coils, I set the unit to 200 deg and the coil generated about 250 to 270 deg of heat. A waste of time, however, I needed to at least validate what everyone has stated about TC with the unit. I still enjoy the M80 anyways for normal VW and mech mode vaping.

My unit came with v0006 and I haven't bothered to upgrade, I'm happy with the way things are now. Great device if you don't count the "temp control".

As for charging, mine has never had an issue charging to 100% but that last bit does take the longest. I use a 2amp charger, not sure if that'd make a huge difference or not.
