Smok XPro M80 Plus - new version, v6 firmware: temperature control testing results

@cobalt327 I honestly have no clue. Probably some minor bug fixing or something along those lines but I can't find anything on smok's official website or on Google. I guess if someone wanted to know badly enough they could e-mail smok's CS and see what they have to say about it.

'Kay, thanks. That's the same as I found- basically no mention of it outside the forum. At first I had hoped there'd be an easy firmware upgrade to fix the TC, or at least make function in some useful way. Now I doubt that ever gonna happen, at least not w/the current board. No worries for me, it performs well enough as a regulated VW mod. It does remind me of a deck of cards when I hold it, though! ha

With the exception of the glaringly bright silver on the top/bottom plates I rather like the box itself. Really sturdy and feels good in the hand. Kinda want to get a broken one and see if I can fit a DNA40 board in it with either replaceable 18650s or a Lipo pack. Or just wait till mine breaks. At the rate I keep dropping it and knocking it over it'll probably be sooner rather than later lol

BUT! The upgrade does not "fix" anything, AFAIK it just changes the wording of one error message regarding a shorted atty. So you might have better luck by describing the issue you're having to the members here on this forum.
