I am at be too late...always am.
My first purchase from a B&M was a black qBox. It went back less than a week later.
Mine would run well enough for a bit, then get incredibly hot. The battery meter would jump up and down while sitting, and it would constantly asking if I had a new load.
Troubleshooting ended up concluding the software was throwing issues and I replaced it with a Revenger.
If you haven't yet, take it back. Up to you as to sticking with smok or moving to something else. I'd try and find someone who will spend some time with you & explain whatever it is you choose.
