The way things have been progressing, it may not be too long before we have something like that. :thumb:

Have you thought about submitting that idea to any of the manufacturers? I think it's a great one. :)
.

Well, I am not a materials scientist and I really have no idea what fibers are safe. I am just speaking hypothetically.

Remember asbestos is a natural mineral fiber and it causes cancer and lung disease. So, obviously, manufacturers would need to select such a fiber rather carefully.

But the suggestion made to the right ears could get them thinking in the right direction.

Well I have to say, I have gone through 4 tanks so far on the triple SS coil and I am really loving this flavor! I have had zero leakage and I just love how easy it is to fill. I am having trouble getting the coil dialed in on my X-Cube because there is no option for a triple SS coil (only single or double) but even when it kicked me out of TC and into wattage mode the flavor and vapor are wonderful. I wish I had a ceramic coil to try, but once I notice the flavor diminishing noticeably on the SS coil I will switch it out to the Clapton coil. Because Clapton. :D I will also do a couple of builds in SS on the RBA to see if I can get the TC settings perfected on the X-Cube, but for now there is no reason to switch this coil out so I will keep using it and reporting back! :)

One thing I did notice is that even when I forgot to close the interior juice flow holes I did not experience any leakage when I had the juice fill hole open. I didn't try to add juice at that time, though, so I cannot speak as to whether it will leak when juice is being added if you forget to close the juice flow holes. I am sure I will get the opportunity to report back on that at some point, though, because that's just how I roll. :)

The fill is like the crius, and I have had no leaking issues when filling it. I am interested in this tank, but am unsure about space in the DC rba deck. Don't suppose anyone that gets one could post pics or atleast what this rba will hold.

I did that in this post. Please let me know if you have any further questions about it :)

I posted some pictures of the deck earlier in this thread, I think around page 3. I finally figured out where I put my SS wire so I will build a coil for it today or tomorrow and post pics. I am still using the triple SS coil head that came with the tank with excellent flavor and vapor so I have not been in a huge hurry to swap it out. It really does have incredible flavor and vapor and I have been just loving using this tank! Zero leaks and it's so easy to fill. My one and only problem (now that I have the SS dialed in on the X-Cube properly!) is that I keep forgetting to reopen the juice flow channels after I refill the tank but that is 100% operator error, lol. It doesn't give me dry hits at all but it does greatly reduce flavor and vapor. An open juice flow is a happy juice flow. :D

This weekend I built a SS coil on the RDBA. This is the first time I have built a coil on a deck like this, but it was so easy! 6 wraps of 26 gauge 316L came out to a .87 ohm coil on the X-Cube. I found out that having the juice channels all the way open, the bottom air flow closed and the top air flow open and it is amaaaazing. Great flavor and vapor.

I have been vaping it at different temps and with the TCR at all kinds of levels but I am still trying to find the right combination on the X-Cube II. I get kicked out of TC regularly, lol. It works great on the Cloupor Mini+, though, were I only have to set the temp and the mod figures out the rest for me. I took a break from fiddling with the settings on the X-Cube and have it in wattage mode right now at 33 watts. Yummy. I love how versatile this tank is.

I never did get to the end of life on the triple SS prebuilt coil, so I will continue to use that one as well. I want to see how many tanks I go through before that coil is done. So far I have gone through 6 tanks on that one. I really want to try the sintered coil for this tank, so I will be ordering coils when they are available, and probably another one of these tanks. For the price, you can't beat it!

Here are a couple of pictures of my build. It isn't too pretty, but it works! :)

That's what 100%VG said, too, so I took it apart today and apparently I DID have the tails over the air flow holes! It was working fine, though, so I didn't have the air holes blocked too much. I thought I had 'em in the juice channels! I am going to build a couple of titanium coils for it today, though. I was dying to try the Clapton coil so I put that in and I will play with the RBA more today. Apparently it is pretty idiot proof. :D

Oh and I would LOVE to go to that game! However, I will have to watch the "Hawks take the Panthers from the comfort of my recliner. :D

Thinking about it if you are not using the bottom air you would be fine. I bet if you inhale with the bottom airflow open you would suck the cotton out lol. Interesting setup, and you said it wasn't leaking right?
You could start a new trend for the mtl crowd that doesn't want massive airflow.;)

That's a good suggestion. :thumb: I was amazed that it worked at all, but since it did, that would be good to share.

It would be great for MTL vapers! I had the bottom air flow closed and the top open and it was a tight draw with great flavor and pretty big clouds. As you can probably tell from my build, I am a confirmed coil head user, lol. I have been wanting to try out a tank with an RBA, however, so this one came in very handy to try that out. I like how easy it is. I can see myself trying all kinds of different builds with it. After I am done with this tank with the Clapton coil head I will do a dual titanium build on it and see what happens. Expect more crappy pictures!! :D

The Velocity RDA style coil posts make it easy to build on. :thumb:

More crappy pictures.
