The Velocity rda style coil posts make it easy to build on. :thumb:

More crappy pictures.

.

Yes it's a lot easier than the 2 RDAs I have and I think it's even easier than the kayfun! It just seems to have more room and it definitely has more options for builds. :) So far it doesn't leak, but if that's a possibility I am sure I will discover it! :D

I had to pick one up, nice price on some of the Pre-orders, but a little more and in stock at vapordna, will give it a go. Should get here by the weekend. Grabbed a black mutank with velocity deck in case this disappoints lol. Looks like it could have some good potential.

It's a fun tank! I wish there had been some better instructions with it but the main points are on the description on the back of the box. I am one who appreciates pictures in my word books. :D Seriously, though, I am very impressed with this tank, especially at the price point it's set at!

I'm not a big fan of Ijoy Reaper Plus. Some genius in Chana, decided that Positive post does not need to be threaded and just snapped it on the positive pin semi-loosely. As a result, I don't think it is even safe to use it. Please, forgive me my first animation. :)

I, of course, will redo this ugly design, when I'll get a chance. But for now, I refuse even to put a build in it.

Mine can be moved/twisted from its position on the insulator, but it's no where near loose. You made me check, but mine takes a good bit of force to move it at all. I was going to build a TC Dual Coil on it, so now I'll get right on that. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, but I think you may have a defective one. I'm not about to force mine apart.

But even if it moved with a build on it, that wouldn't necessarily create a problem as far as a short. The Plus Post is mounted so it would spin on a central axis, and not go beyond the diameter of the deck. It could mess up the build and the vape, and possibly cause flooding by moving the wicking from juice channels. But what would make it move once the coils are set, the wicking is put in, the cover is put on, the Ohms have been checked to see that it's what was anticipated, and it's been primed and tested again?

Good old Mr. Murphy. Hes such a ........ If yours was loose like in that ani, and you built it, Im sure somehow when your least expecting it that pos post would move and contact the coil somehow, cause a short, pop the coil, crack the glass, cause your batteries to vent, someone would see the batteries venting, call the cops because you are setting a bomb, cops would shoot you because of the bomb, people would protest in the streets, loot the town, cut the fire hoses, throw rocks and the responding riot police, I would be late to work because of all this and then I would have to send you a strongly worded hate-PM....be safe man. no one wants a strongly worded hate-pm. :)

I think it's great to have concerns and be cautious, but before we start voicing those concerns posed as warnings, we should do our research to see if there is any valid reason to post such warnings. There have been far too many Alarmist Warnings.

Oh my God! Stainless Steel Mesh can produce Chromium Oxide under Industrial conditions. Stainless Steel Mesh isn't safe for vaping!!!

Oh my God! Nickel can produce Carbonyl under Industrial conditions. Ni200 is not safe for vaping!!!

I suggest you take your concerns to an area of ceramic research where the types of ceramic you are concerned about are being researched. Find out if there are any concerns to be voiced before you voice them. Separate the areas of danger from those that do not happen under vaping conditions. If you can't find such research on the Internet or in Forums, then get with Chemists, Metallurgists, and other Scientists who are professionals and specialists in the area of your research. When you find a possibly dangerous condition under vaping applications, then report your findings with documented evidence, and relate the conditions that create the danger. This is the only Fair way to report potential and/or blatant hazards, and should become the Standard. This is the way that I do things for my own vaping concerns. I do the research before I try the product.

I would thank you to take your Alarmist Warnings elsewhere. If you have any actual evidence that a concern is valid, then post that. :)
.
I think I missed something here....... What claim(s) did I make? The only claims made here have been the ones calling me names.
I am merely asking questions. Those being:

1. Can a sintered ceramic wick in a coil head break under harsh use?
2. Can a sintered ceramic wick be poorly manufactured in a way in which it releases ceramic powder when inhaled through?

These are my concerns, and for bringing them to attention, I am being called an alarmist.

That's good to know. I hope it is as tough as it sounds.
Guys please settle down! I don't think @jefx is being ALARMIST Just a bit misinformed! I know from the resistors in the machines (CNC mills & lathes) that sintered ceramic is quite tough (I.E. resistors 100 ohms +) and even when crushed produces very little dust! A simple crack witch is like to happen from a mod drop is not likely to produce particles small enough to be inhaled during vaping! Having said that I don't think I'm too comfortable with using ANY ceramic coils at this time!

OK so I just started reading this thread BUT DUDE are they paying you? I understand loving an attie ( my Mutation mt is the best ever) but I accept there are problems with ALL vaping products & somebody else's issue might not be mine at all! Seems like you're taking peoples concerns as attacks and some might be but isn't that the great thing about this hobby & this nation for that matter that we are all entitled to our opinions!

Back on topic! I just bought a TFV4 & I personally don't know how a tank with so few coil choices could even be considered as competition! Maybe the Triton but not the TFV4! JMHO!

Sorry, but I did not consider your post as an attack. I was simply saying that mine was not lose, and even if it became lose for some reason, I don't think it would be hazardous. I said that I thought you must have a bad one. It happens. :) Sorry if I worded it inappropriately. While the Plus Pin is a Press Fit (at least I could not find a screw, but I did not take it apart), mine is a very tight Press Fit and hard to move off center. Another commenter/poster has built with it and did not report that problem. I'm sorry yours does that. :(

Your opinion is appreciated. I'm glad you love the TFV4. Whatever works to keep you off the stinkies. :thumb:

I did build a 0.3Ω dual coil using SS316L 28g in the Reaper Plus RBA. Being my first time, it was a little clumsy, finding the best way to get the cotton in the juice channels from 3mm coils, but she vapes amazingly well. Next time, I'll use smaller diameter coils. I found the coils to be a snug fit, the way I made them, and they had to be very close to the posts, but it went together and worked very well without ever getting any shorts. Not to sound obnoxious, but the Plus Pin did not move during the build. @haleysdadda , please see if you can get yours replaced or have your money refunded.

I was running her on a Joyetech Cuboid with a SS316L TC set in Memory. It worked great, so I decided to try it on a Reuleaux DNA200 after an hour. I had already entered the TFR for SS316L from using the Reaper Plus Triple Coil SS316L Head, so I cranked it up and took her for another vape around the block. I'm using UD SS316L wire and I am very impressed with the RBA in this tank, and the wire. I was not impressed with the Triple Coil SS316L Head. I was getting Spitback, so in comparison, I found the RBA to be refreshingly wonderful. I could have used 26g and I'll probably do that when I rebuild it. But the flavor and vapor were both great, with only one vape of break in for the wire and/or organic cotton pad strips. At 60W with a 100W Preheat at 500°F, the vapor clouds far surpass my Kanger SubTank Mini under the same settings. It worked just as well on the Cuboid.

After my first experience with the Triple Coil SS316L Head, the RBA has me appreciating this Reaper Plus. I have not tried the other Coil Head yet, but I much prefer using my own builds.

You're so funny! It wasn't me it was @AMDTrucking that had the problem! I don't even own one! First you compare it to the TFV4 then the STM! REALLY? I happen to own both the TFV4 & STM and they are in two different classes altogether!

Yay! I'm so glad you got to try out a dual build on it. I am still using the Clapton coil head and I like it better than the triple SS. I get crackling but no spit-back from it and the flavor and vapor are great. Heaven Gifts has the Reaper Plus coil packs for sale now, at $13.80 a pack for the SS and $12.50 a pack for the Clapton, so the price for the replacement coils is great, especially when you add the 15% discount code they are offering right now. I hope the other coil types are released soon. At those prices I want to try them all! :)

When you have time could you post a picture of your build? I want to do a 28 gauge Ti build on the deck but, as you already know, I like visual cues. :D

I won the reaper plus from heaven gifts and the rba hasn't been a problem. Built it twice and its easy as pie preforms as well as my crius. With a 2.5 id 5 wrap 26/32 clapton.
Congratulations on your win, @skiball, and welcome to ECF! :) Would you mind posting a picture of your build? This is my first tank with a rebuildable deck and I really like it. I am learning as I go and I do love me a great Clapton! :)

Sorry I got the name wrong, but I did not make any reference to the STM. It must have been someone else.
