First off, let me put this out there, I love the smok TiTan. The vapor production is awesome. I love that I can get a dual coil head for it. I love the tube material. It is great in several ways. I love that the cup in the atomizer head doesn't burn up, although I do have to occasionally realign them to the slits for the wicks.

The one way it isn't great is that the metal threading which I thought would make them awesome often doesn't seem to seal the tube and body well. Some tubes seem to be better than others (I have three full units, and 6 tubes). Some of the tubes seal great on any of the three bases I have, some only work on a few. I had posted questions about o-rings, which I haven't been successful in finding replacements yet, and other general questions. I've even written to the manufacturer and asked them if I could buy more o-rings from them thinking that I might double up some of them to see if that helps. So far, I just can't get a reliable seal all the time with these.

I want to continue loving this product, but if it is an unhealthy relationship that is doomed to fail, I need to get more data to see if I should abandon it.

Has anyone else had leaking issues from the threading on top and bottom of the tube? Has anyone else had a mouthpiece free itself from the threading and is now stuck in the top piece? Has anyone else had issues with this tank that makes them question their relationship with it? Can anyone tell me things I could try to resolve the leaking from the top and bottom tube threading?

Thanks in advance for your feedback

Indeed I did... Metal to metal to the point where I really didn't think I should tighten it more. I notice that with some of the tubes, they actually don't have much resistance until the metal rings are tight. On some of the others, there is some resistance toward the end presumably caused by the o-ring doing it's job. Even with some of these instances, there is still leaks from time to time.

I don't have any of these, but how do they screw together? Is thread tape an option?
That's an interesting idea. The way these screw together is very much like a ViVi Nova, but the tube actually has a metal ring on the top and bottom with the mating threads for the top and bottom.

I also like the idea of scavenging them from other things except then I would be down tanks. Perhaps the payoff would justify this.

Thanks for these ideas.
