Hi all,
I don't know what to do about it.. I mean, obviously I'm never going to use it anymore. But I don't know if or where I should report it to.
I don't want this to happen to anybody else.. Lives and property are at stake.
If I hadn't been nearby when I started hearing it, there almost assuredly would have been thermal runaway - and lives and property 100% in jeopardy! When I pulled the batteries out, I got a burn w/blister from the metal contact of the battery. Needless to say, I'm not going to use those batteries anymore either... But I don't know if I should get them out to a recycler ASAP, or just store them safely with my other cells ready for batch recycling??
So is there any course of action I might want to take about this? I couldn't care less about suing or anything.. I just don't want it happening to others if this could be a potential fault with a certain lot, perhaps.?
