Smoke detector went off when i changed to .25 coil

So i have always been able to vape my kanger sub ohm 0.5 coil at 30 watts right near the smoke detector in my bedroom. As soon as i switched to a .a different tank with a 0.25 low resistance coil and started vaping my smoke detector went off. The question is why if when i had the 0.5 coil i could be close to the smoke detector and it wont go off, how come if i change to the 0.25 coil now the smoke detector goes off even of im not as close to it when i had the other coild in the tank?

If I blow vapor on a smoke detector, it goes off. I don't know what that means, but it goes off. However, taking a hot shower and filling the room with steam does not cause it to go off.

Your reading my post correctly, i said if i bape lower resistance coil it sets of the detector, higher coil at 0.5 doesnt. You get it now? Or do you need someone to read it to you

You are simply producing more vapor with the lower ohm coils. Tank performance is also a factor. Put a shower cap on your detector and vape away.

i def have to get a shower cap to block off the vapor from tripping the detector, i think this crown tank was that good. Lol

A friend of mine and I went on vacation in July. We spent a lot of the day's stuck in a hotel room. We both vape, sub ohm RDA's. Between the two of us, a small closed up hotel room, it was foggy! I can tell ya, a properly placed shower cap saved the day

Pay attention to your vapor the next time you use that .25 ohm coil.

Real vapor hangs and then falls. The reason for this is that vapor dissipates rather quickly.

Smoke continues to rise.

I know its not something that you "more advanced" cloud chasers want to hear, but the simple fact of the matter is that many of you are approaching combustion with your builds.

I do have a RDA, but i am not a "builder", and i dont use it often, even though most would say that the RBA has the best clouds and and flavor. I mostly use a sub ohm tank between 28 - 40 watts depending on my mood. When i had the 0.25 coil in i happened to have been getting carried away and that's when the smoke detector went off, usually like i said i am always using the 0.5 so i am not a super power user like some on here with 150 watt mods and gold coils and streaming bus fumes. LOL

I am not trying to derail the thread, but I feel an urgent need to get some explanations: my second language English goes off (or on?) the rails. How come you say "the smoke detector goes off" when in reality it goes on? I understand nothing, I feel depressed...
